I have a tendency to post only about games I "finish" so here's my thoughts on 2 recent games I didn't so I don't forget:
Sinker Sound: pretty much exactly what I wanted from the demo and really fun, just incomplete because early access. dunno how long it'll take to finish development but I was happy to support this one right away because I think the gameplay design is so unique and exciting
KilaFlow: I was really excited about this one (originally planned to speedrun it once it released), but as I progressed it kept becoming less fun. it's mostly competently made and I think the character control is mostly solid but the lategame level design brought attention to some "invisible" or easier to overlook problems that weren't obvious in the beginning of the game, mostly with the fixed camera and excess of void making it hard to read your character's actual position in space. I also disliked how certain moves like the drop bounce would cut your speed, requiring constant re-charging of the dash - just let me go fast, man. the final 2 or so worlds were really testing my patience and by the time I got to what I think was the final world I didn't even want to play anymore, which is sad
