Thinking about how cyrus had given up his life of luxury and privilege to become a diviner. He had never wanted the crown, just the magic, peace and self control of the diviners. King Cyrus who takes care of his people, wears no jewelry (dresses simply as diviners do), pays his workers incredibly well, never goes to events/celebration- he maintains his reserved lifestyle. Alizeh is the only person who has seen through his disguise, the only person who has made him almost lose his self restraint. While Alizeh was recovering he covered his entire fucking kingdom in her favorite flowers.

I'm reading a book series that was promoted as enemies to lovers, it's not, the funny thing is that the real enemies to lovers it's the reader with the protagonist's best friend, I couldn't stand him for a while and now it's starting to grow on me, if he dies I might cry

I love Trystan soo much. Like Evie's chapter can end with "The Villain didn't even seem to notice" or smt like that but then you get to his POV and it starts with "I am going to die" cause he definitely noticed and now he's freaking out
