How can I get more involved?
A theme of questions Iâve been getting from partners is how can they can get more involved. Specifically, being that taking on the role of the person forcing their partner to wear/use diapers doesnât come naturally and so they never seem to do it.
I canât stress enough how important it is for you to be in control of your partnerâs diaper wearing and babying. Being accepting is a great first step but theyâll never really feel accepted if youâre not actively involved.
The good news is itâs not that hard and using some of the ideas Iâve already shared Iâve put together this article as a guide to situations which you can leverage to take control.
This can be learned and become natural over time, I know as I wasnât wired with a natural ABDL mommy role.
Scenario examples where you can get more involved:
Partner not currently diapered:
They come back from work
- Meet them at the door with a diaper in hand and take them straight to get changed.
- Check their underwear upon arriving home. Comment that it smells like they had an accident (even if a lie) and say you think itâs best you get them diapered to avoid any in the house.
Youâre away
- If your partner is at home or will come home and youâll be away, leave a diaper and maybe some ABDL clothes out with a note telling them to get changed into this.
- Leaving for a few days? Hide their underwear and replace it with a note saying diapers are their underwear while youâre away.
- Ask for a diaper check over a message or video call, if not diapered, tell them to put one on.
- Require them to ask before changing and deny it until it looks near leaking.
They ask not to be diapered
Maybe theyâre embarrassed, just not feeling it today or it will be inconvenient for some reason, you have a few choices:
- Tell them thatâs not an option and theyâre getting diapered anyway (this should be the default)
- Tell them youâll allow it but as a consequence theyâll get some form of punishment. This should make them think twice so might be something like âyou can wear adult underwear today but youâll be getting a smacking and suppository tonightâ or âok but youâll be diapered 24/7 for the rest of the weekâ
- Tell them to prove they deserve adult underwear. (This one needs a few hours spare so is best when theyâre resisting wearing as theyâre bored of it, feel ashamed, etc.) Your goal here is to prove they need diapers = they have an accident. Make them drink 3-4 large glasses of water and then say that they can use the toilet in 3 hours time to prove they donât need diapers. Most wonât make it near that and will either beg to use it or have an accident. If youâre feeling nice when they ask to use the toilet, say no and diaper them or alternatively make them wet their pants before diapering them.
- A variant of the above also works if they donât want to mess their diapers. Swap the water for 1 or 2 suppositories and set a time of an hour. The consequence of resisting and then being proven to need diapers should be long term, e.g: âok now we know youâre not a big girl youâll be using you diaper for everything for the next few months and then maybe you can try againâ
Itâs bedtime
- Have a diaper and some cute ABDL clothing laid out waiting for them.
- Ask them if theyâre ready for bed and if they say yes, tell them that it doesnât look like it and babies need to be diapered for bedtime.
On the way to the toilet
Stop them and tell them babies donât use that and to go put on a diaper or better still, diaper them yourself.
You notice the toilet isnât clean
If you go to the toilet after them and notice some stray pee on the seat, toilet surround or floor (all common with boys) or if theyâve left skids, then tell them off for being messy. Most importantly tell them that if theyâre not grown up to use the toilet youâll put them back in diapers permanently.
The first time this can just be a threat but on the second time you should enforce this and diaper them 24/7 for at least a few days but ideally a few weeks.
Underwear Inspections
Another great way to trigger some diaper wearing time is to inspect their underwear. After peeing many males leak a small amount so checking their underwear after they used the toilet can yield a small wet patch. Equally check at the end of the day but this time focus on the rear, and tell them that you can smell poop (even if you canât).
Then use these findings to tell them theyâre obviously too little for adult underwear and take them to be diapered. Again as before, this should last a few days. You can also step things up more slowly by going to pull ups first and then diapers.
During Sex
Experiment with mentioning diapers or them being a baby during sex. Youâll likely find this turns them on more. Little things like saying:
- âDo you feel like a big boy/girl not wearing your diaper tonightâ
- âI think I should diaper you after thisâ
- âI prefer you in diapers for this, maybe weâll make that permanentâ
- âWill you cum so we can get you back in your diapyâ
- Etc
Going; on a drive, to see a movie, a day trip?
These should all be used as reasons for your partner to be diapered. Tell them that you want them diapered as it would be easier and pick an appropriate diaper for the occasion.
For long drives or movies Iâd recommend a thick diaper. For day trips a thinner diaper, which can be changed, may be better. Remember they likely will object to wearing out of fear or it being inconvenient but this is exactly why this is a perfect opportunity to diaper them.
Theyâre already diapered:
They say theyâre going to the toilet
- Stop them and tell them to use their diaper. Likely this means they need to a poop but donât relent and tell them their diapers are for everything. This is one of the most powerful things you can do to show them you accept their diaper wearing and be actively forcing them to mess their diaper.
They walk past you
- Try give them a âdiaper patâ when youâre nearby or if they pass you. This shows you know theyâre diapered and that you accept it!
- Stop them and do a diaper check. You can do this by squeezing the front and back of their diaper through clothing but ideally get them to expose their diaper to you. This shows you accept them and are expecting them to have used their diaper.
Youâre sitting together
- If their diaper is exposed, make a small comment about it, like âThese diapers look cute on youâ
- If the diaper is hidden by clothing, do a small diaper pat or squeeze it to show you know itâs there
- Make a comment on their diaperâs state, like âyouâre already a bit wetâ, âI might need to change you soonâ, âit doesnât look like youâve used your diaper yetâ
Youâre about to head out of the house
- Quickly check theyâre wearing a diaper either subtly by lifting a shirt to see the waistband or even better is to get them to show you their full exposed diaper by dropping their pants or lifting their skirt.
- If longer than an hour ask if theyâve got their diaper bag with them.
They need a change
If you notice their diaper is nearing capacity you have a few options:
- Tell them they need a change and guide them to the changing area to do the change.
- Say that it looks like their diaper is getting full but youâll change them in a bit. Delay it an hour and if they do leak tell them how you might need to switch to thicker diapers
- Donât mention it but just bring diaper supplies to where they are and without comment start the changing process. Make it as if this is the most normal thing in the world.
Theyâre smelly / messy
You notice that theyâve messed their diaper, this might be expected or a surprise but itâs very important you donât react negatively.
Some options:
- Mention it in a teasing but not disgusted way; âoh, do I smelly a messy diaperâ, âI think my baby might need a changeâ, âIs someone a messy babyâ, etc
- Check their diaper by pulling back the waistband or if itâs not exposed, grab and squeeze the back of their diaper through their clothing.
- Ask them to come over and sit on your knee. This is one of the most embarrassing things as it will cause their mess to spread and theyâll feel very babyish. Cuddle and bounce them for maximum blushing.
- Tell them youâll change them in a bit. Making them wait even a short while shows youâre in control. For even greater effect, tell them that you donât think that diaper is full yet so youâll check them again in an hour. Or my favorite is to say Iâll change them but after lunch, dinner or some other activity that means it will be at least an hour and theyâll have to sit in it.
- Shower them with praise. As I mentioned theyâll likely be feeling some shame so tell them how good they are for using their diaper as theyâre supposed to.
- Ideally when the time comes, change them yourself, but if not, be waiting with their new diaper after theyâve cleaned up.
Youâre in public
- Lightly smack or squeeze their bum to remind them theyâre wearing a diaper and you know it.
- Ask them if theyâll need a change soon
- Check their diaper subtly, this works best when youâre out of sight of others such as in an elevator or on a secluded section of a hike.
- Comment that their clothes hide their diaper well, or point out their waistband is showing.
- See a sign for a restroom? joke that they wonât be needing that.
At bedtime
- Prepare a bottle for them (milk, juice or water) and feed this to them in bed. This feels incredibly loving and should become part of your daily routine. Itâs especially good if your partner struggles to sleep or is stressed.
- Insert an adult pacifier into their mouth before sleep, perfect straight after their bottle.
- Make a comment that you hope their diaper will hold all their accidents tonight
- Place mittens onto their hands (ideal for partners who like using their phone in bed)
- Give them a teddy to sleep with or read them a bedtime story.
During Sex
- If theyâre diapered then itâs likely youâre using a vibrator or similar. Try also physically interact with their diaper at the same time to make it so youâre more intimately involved in it.
- Most importantly after the orgasm DO NOT allow them to change out of a diaper. This is a time theyâre most likely to experience shame so actively tell them theyâre good for being diapered and keep them diapered. If they do need to change it must be into another diaper. This is probably one of the most important pieces of advice I can give!
In the mornings:
- Check their diaper physically by touching, squeezing etc
- Make a comment that youâre glad theyâre diapered otherwise theyâd have wet the bed.
- Keep them in their night diaper and ABDL clothes until after breakfast or longer if possible (normally at weekends).
- Tell or encourage them to mess their diaper as then they can shower to clean up. Or force the matter by inserting a suppository or fleet enema.
- Re-insert the pacifier and/or give them another bottle.
Having a meal:
- Make them wear a bib. For maximum effect wait until a meal where they spill something on themselves and then introduce this rule.
- Feed them a meal. This can be fun!
- Make them sit in a highchair! These can be made using a directorâs chair and an accessible feeding table and itâs worth the investment as it will make them feel very babyish sitting in an exposed diaper eating with with their hands or baby cutlery.
- Give drinks in a bottle or sippy cup.
Other situations:
Itâs their birthday, Christmas or you just want to get them a gift
- Buy them a diaper / ABDL related gift and ideally from now on at least one but potentially even all of their gifts from you should be ABDL related. This unprompted involvement from you will show them how accepting you are of it. They will be delighted I guarantee!
- Gift Ideas:
- New ABDL diapers; buy a few packs of adult diapers. Iâd recommend ABDL ones as theyâre prettier and also you can buy a few different styles which they might not have.
- ABDL clothing; onesies are the easy option but to really wow them try something like shortalls, rompers, footed onesies.
- ABDL accessories; bottles, pacifiers, bibs, mittens or a new changing mat are great choices. These are especially good if the ABDL side has been something youâve shyâd away from to date.
- Sexual; Some bondage gear like a straitjacket, bed restraints or locking clothing is a great gift. Or a Chastity cage will fill a boy with excitement and fear.
- Small filler gifts: baby powder, rash cream, etc
- As part of their gift, change their diaper wearing frequency or rules. âFor Christmas Iâve decided that from now on youâre always going to be diapered at nightâ. âYouâll see Iâve got you some new diapers and from now on youâll only be in these ABDL diapers, even in publicâ
Clothes shopping
- When clothes shopping ask them if this will fit over their diaper
- Make comments about certain items being good for hiding their diaper or âI think this might show your diaper a bit muchâ
- Comment on items being too adult for them or things looking childish as being perfect
- Make them wear a diaper out shopping so they can make sure things fit well
Grocery shopping or at a pharmacy
- Buy baby essentials regularly
- Comment on the baby diaper aisle that itâs a shame you canât buy diapers their size here
- If you see adult diapers stop and look and ask them if you should buy some.
- Add a pack of goodnights to your cart if they fit them and comment that these might be useful for when youâre not in diapers.
- Buy suppositories, laxatives, etc
You have a vacation coming up
- Check theyâve packed enough diapers
- When theyâre not around remove any underwear and replace with diapers (if you want them 24/7 for the trip)
- Discuss how them being diapered will impact the vacation. âI wonder if theyâll be somewhere I can change you on this day tripâ, âCan you google if thereâs accessible restrooms available at âŚâ, âI wonder if I should ask the hotel for a medical trashcan in the room for your diapersâ
- Buy a swim diaper if you donât already have one.
Summary:
- Find reasons to diaper your partner even at times where it will be inconvenient
- Try increase the reasons and frequency of their diaper wearing over time. Iâs start with 25% of the time theyâre diapered and work up from there.
- Encourage and force them to use their diapers
- Interact with their diapers and acknowledge the fact they are diapered
- Introduce baby elements as much as possible
Iâm assuming theyâve given consent to be diaper disciplined and because of this remember youâre TELLING them what to do, not asking.
Making the decision for them
The biggest mental health issue we see when speaking with ABDLâs and littles is the shame/desire cycle with regard to wearing & using diapers. This is especially pronounced when they believe theyâd be happier if in diapers all the time but have struggled to make it work.
Feelings of shame often are the catalyst which temporarily kills ABDL desires only for them to return stronger than ever a few hours or days later. This leaves your partner feeling both guilty about not committing to what they know would be good for them and guilty for having the desire to start with.
The good news is them having a supportive partner is the biggest advantage possible and you as their partner have the ability to transform their lives for the better.
Ask yourself if the following are true:
- They seem to be happier and/or less stressed & anxious when diapered
- Theyâre wearing diapers several times a week and often for multi-day periods
- Theyâre comfortable using them for #1 & #2
- Theyâve worn in different public situations
- Theyâve mentioned a desire to be 24/7 before
- They may have even tried 24/7 for a period before.
- You are comfortable with them wearing and using diapers
- You are willing to make some changes to your life if it makes them happier
- You are willing to be involved in their diaper wearing
- You can afford $200+ a month for their diaper supplies
If you answered yes to them all, using diaper discipline to âforceâ them into the situation they actually want can be extremely beneficial.
We have talked about many ways to use diaper discipline and although this may feel like one of the more extreme options it has proven to be very effective for couples weâve spoken to and to us directly.
So what are we suggesting? Well in short, you return your partner to diapers full time and stop this negative cycle for good. Think of this more as an intervention than a discussion.
Yes this will be hard at first and there will be times they resist but I guarantee if you stick to it the positive results will speak for themselves.
For this approach I donât recommend any half measures as this leads to gaps which can cause you and them to waiver and lead to the collapse of the benefits.
So if youâre willing and ready to take on some challenges to help your partner what should you do?
First decide a date from which this will start.
This should be 1-2 weeks away to give you time to prepare and the absolute ideal would be if theyâre away for a day or two immediately prior to this date.
Second is to get yourself fully comfortable with the rules youâll be setting out for them.
These are:
1. They will be diapered 24/7
2. The only exception to this is at work and with friends and family where they can wear pull ups but otherwise theyâll be in high absorbency medical or ABDL diapers.
3. When in diapers the toilet will be fully out of bounds, including at home, in public and on vacation.
4. They should now be treated as having bladder and bowel incontinence.
5. This isnât a short term change and will likely be permanent.
Also decide on these three rules which we highly recommend but are optional:
- At home all checks and changes will be carried out by me.
- All diapers must be worn until full or have been messy for over an hour.
- At home diapers arenât to be hidden and should be either be fully exposed or obvious through ABDL clothing.
Third, prepare for the change:
- Make sure you have a good stock of diapers for them.
- Iâd recommend having around 200 in stock with a mix of high quality but thinner medical diapers (e.g. Tena Slip Ultima), thick medical diapers (e.g. Megamax) and ABDL themed diapers.
- Gather diaper changing essentials including adult sized wipes, powder, barrier cream, disposable gloves & disposable changing mats (bedwetting mats are perfect)
- To help things along get a stock of suppositories, mini-enemas, laxative tablets, fibre supplements and Iâd also recommend devrom to be used to reduce smells.
- Buy some ABDL clothing essentials if they donât already have them:
- A couple plain onesies to be used in public
- A couple of ABDL onesies for at home and nighttime
- A few ABDL outfits for use at home for example a romper, play dress & baby style tshirts
- Create a dedicated diaper changing room for them including at a minimum:
- A changing table. Ideally this would be built but a dedicated bed with a changing mat can work ok as well.
- A diaper pail (try buy a big one as otherwise youâll be emptying it daily)
- Shelving / storage for their diapers and other supplies where theyâre not hidden.
- A good air freshener or air purifier
- Having a full day or two to prepare can be extremely helpful if you can time it to be around them being out of the house
- This is optional but some light restraints can be fun and a big help, primarily:
- Wrist and ankle restraints on the changing table
- A locking diaper cover
- Padded mittens
- Straightjacketshop is our favorite for these
The big day
This day is going to change both of your lives for the better. Make sure you have everything ready for when they come home. In preparation also do the final step to commit to this and throw away all of their underwear.
Upon arriving home tell them you have a surprise for them leading them up to the diaper changing area. Help them strip down and importantly dispose of their underwear into the diaper pail before getting the to lie down on the changing table. Attaching the wrist restraints are a good idea at this stage if youâve opted for them.
Itâs likely they will actually be excited at this point with this development so donât expect much resistance.
Diaper them into a thick ABDL diaper before telling them what youâve decided. Itâs best to give the background to your decision and focus on how you think this will be best for them and how you know deep down this is what they want.
Next, run through the rules slowly and a standout moment for me was reinforcing these to him by saying that this meant heâd be never using the toilet in our house again. This will be a lot to take in, and expect them try negotiate some changes to the rules but you should stay firm on all the major points.
Once theyâve calmed down from the excitement and nervousness of it all, dress them in ABDL clothes and try have the best possible evening. Cook their favorite meal, watch their favorite film, etc and keep them relaxed.
Likely more questions and worries will come up but you can normally handle these easily.
The question you will certainly get is âHow long will this last forâ and itâs important for both of you to accept that this isnât a game or short term experiment but a permanent change. Itâs very important you highlight this but you can provide a review period after a significant period of time.
I would recommend having a review after 6 months and decide if it should continue. 6 months is a good time period as itâs long enough to get through the initial challenges and far enough away to prevent them/you just waiting it out while not accepting the new reality.
First week
The first week is going to be a big adjustment as they realize youâre serious and you both get used to this new world.
As part of proving this isnât a temporary thing get them to try on all their clothes while thickly diapered and get rid of all which no longer fit well. Follow this up with a shopping trip to replenish their wardrobe with clothing for public wear.
Make sure their diaper area is completely hair free, we find hair removal cream works wonders.
You should also use this week to ensure they know the rules are serious. Iâd recommend using a suppository or laxative twice to ensure they fill their diaper and try make one of these be while around you.
Provide huge amounts of encouragement and praise all week. And reenforce that this is going to be great for them and you both.
Keep their diaper exposed at home or covered only by ABDL clothing, there should be no opportunity for them to not be wearing their diaper.
Finally try be as involved as possible in diaper checks and changes.
First month
With the first month try and get into the routine as much as possible and tick off different wearing and usage scenarios. Have meals out with them diapered, go on a day trip with a diaper bag packed, etc.
Continue to provide as much encouragement as possible and continue to check and change their diapers at home when you can.
You should also introduce daily fibre supplements for them as these are good for bowel health, can be used long term and although they will increase the volume of their bmâs it actually helps reduce the smell. Reducing red meats and fatty foods also helps keep the smell down.
This is also the perfect time to experiment with different diapers to see which are best for different scenarios. Try extending how long you keep them in the same diaper before changing to get familiar with their capacities. Expect several diaper leaks during this process and never punish them for these. A waterproof cover on your bed is a good idea.
Second month
Now youâre 30 days in you should be both used to the new situation and they should be now accepting this isnât a short term change.
This month you should encourage them to begin diaper training and form a bedwetting habit. When diapered they shouldnât be holding so check their diaper 30 minutes after a change and tell them off if itâs not already slightly wet.
Every night make sure they have 1-2 large glasses of water before bed and tell them you expect them to be wet in the morning. This process will take a few months but if you encourage them to relax and let go in bed and add punishments if you wake up in the morning and find them dry.
Finally you want them to become comfortable using their diaper fully even when out of the house. Have a day trip where theyâll be using their diapers a lot
Third month
This is the perfect time to go on a vacation together so if youâre able to, book a 1-2 week vacation. As theyâll not be around friends or family this whole period should be in diapers only from leaving your house to returning. When going through airport security a dry diaper is recommended to avoid setting off the scanners.
A vacation is a great time to get them even more comfortable with their diapers in public as they wonât be worried about meeting people they know. Experiment with them wearing thicker diapers than normal especially if youâre going on a longer day trip.
Also remember you should be treating them as if theyâre fully incontinent so this means swim diapers are a must. If you have your own pool then I recommend using an ABDL swim diaper but also take a discreet adult swim diaper option for use in public.
A vacation is also the perfect time for you to take 100% control of their diapering. Even if youâre not doing this at home Iâd recommend you doing all their diaper checks and changes for the whole period and make it clear they canât ask for a change.
Do not make any exceptions for toilet usage and if you have a day where a messy accident would be very inconvenient use a suppository in the morning or some ducolax tablet the evening before to ensure theyâre emptied out prior to the dayâs activities.
Forth month
Theyâll pass 100 days diapered this month so make sure to celebrate and congratulate them on the achievement.
You both might still be a bit shy about messy diapers at this stage and now is the right time to try change that. If youâve noticed they hide away from you when messy tell them this and that messy diapers are normal and not something you expect to change your activities together.
If youâre not checking and changing all their diapers already at least start a rule that they must ask permission to change. When they ask, conduct a complete diaper check where itâs fully exposed and either pull back the rear waistband or use your hand on the back of the diaper to check for messy accidents. The other key thing is donât always give permission, for example if itâs just messy and still has capacity tell them that it looks like it can hold more and to come back in an hour.
To help them get used to messing in your presence force the situation:
- Give them a suppository before settling down for a movie and donât allow them to getup or change until itâs finished.
- Make them take 2 ducolax tablets in the evening which will result in them messing overnight.
- Use a suppository before a drive or trip to go shoppingâ¨
Finally, they shouldnât be associating a messy diaper with an instant change. Itâs important that the state of their diaper doesnât influence your activities too much. Once theyâve messed try continue your plans for an hour or two until there is a convenient time to change him / let him change. For example if he messes in the early evening, his change can wait until after youâve eaten dinner together. Devrom and plastic pants really reduces the smell.
Fifth Month
Their diapered life will be feeling very normal now.
Now may be a good time to experiment with swapping out pull ups for thin diapers for work, friends & family. Iâd recommend maybe a cloth backed option so theyâre completely silent to build up their confidence. Make sure to give lots of reassurance that it is discrete.
Sixth Month
This is the review month so make sure to have a conversation about how theyâre finding things. Iâm sure youâll both agree itâs been positive and will want to continue.
Avoid reducing the rules at all and Iâd recommend now is the time to commit to them being diapered fully and phase out the pull ups completely.
I think itâs worth calling out to them that this means youâre committing them to diapers permanently. Now is a good time for you to increase your involvement to be checking and changing all their diapers at home.
âââ
This post ended up longer than we expected but hopefully itâs will be useful to you as a partner of an ABDL. As always my DMâs are open and Iâm happy to chat with anyone who is thinking about this for their partner and wants some advice.
24/7 Diaper Discipline - Lite edition
We speak with lots of couples or ABDL partners who want to go 24/7 but practically itâs hard and instead they find themselves bouncing around different rules, periods of wearing with lows of feelings of shame and highs where they worry itâs an addiction.
Weâre advocates for 24/7 as it normalizes wearing to prevent these highs and lows but I do understand this isnât always possible. Also trying and failing at 24/7 multiple times isnât good either.
When 24/7 lite is perfect:
- Your partner currently wears diapers around 50% of the time
- There are times were they currently canât or donât feel comfortable wearing diapers (work, friends, family, etc)
- They experience lows where the desire to wear goes away or they feel shame
- You are supportive of them wearing & using diapers more
So what is 24/7 lite:
Your partner will be diapered most of the time and you will normalize it in your relationship. Your involvement can vary but it canât be none. There will be agreed times they donât have to wear and flexibility for 1 cheat day a week where theyâre not diapered.
Recommended rules:
- Your partners default underwear is now a diaper
- When in diapers, they are your partners toilet, no exceptions
- Allowed exceptions to wear underwear:
- working in an office or with colleagues
- spending time with friends or family
- taking part in sport
- For clarity, these arenât exceptions:
- Being in public, going to the store, out for dinner
- Travelling by car, train, bus or plane
- Vacations
- Overnight (even if staying with friends / family and you have your own bedroom)
- Cheat Days:
- 1 cheat day is allowed per week
- It resets on Monday each week and doesnât carry over if unused
- Either partner can invoke the cheat day, this should happen in the morning before theyâre diapered for the day.
- A cheat day lasts until the next morning
- Your involvement:
- Changing them into a fresh diaper every morning
- Changing their wet evening diaper into their thick nighttime diaper
- Checking they are diapered when they should be
- Their diapers:
- At home and overnight = thick medical or ABDL diapers
- Traveling and vacations = thiner medical diapers allowed but recommend megamax level of protection where possible
- You can substitute their underwear during exceptions for pull ups, training pants or childish underwear if you wish
Are you ready for this?
24/7 Lite is still a big lifestyle change so you need to ask yourself if youâre ready to help your partner do this and:
- Accept your partner as being primarily a diaper wearer
- Be comfortable with the idea that theyâll be peeing and pooping in their diapers including times when youâre together
- Be willing to provide encouragement to keep them wearing and using their diapers
- Youâre happy to deal with the extra work of bringing diaper and changing supplies with you on day trips and vacations
- Ready to make changes to your home life to normalize their diaper wearing
Other changes you should make:
- Have a diaper bag packed and ready at all times, this can be a backpack and include at least 2 diapers, wipes, powder, a changing mat / disposal mat, diaper disposal bags and a change of clothes in case of leaks.â¨
- Stock up on diapers, you should have at least a month of diapers available so around 100â¨
- Setup a dedicated diaper changing area. Ideally this should include an adult changing table, all the supplies you need and a diaper pail.â¨
- Donât hide their diaper wearing in the house (unless you have guests coming). Their diapers should be visible in the changing area and you should encourage exposed diapers or clothing which doesnât hide them around the house.
Getting Started
- This change shouldnât be thought of as being for a few weeks but a long term and potentially permanent decision
- Iâd recommend throwing away their underwear so only a few remain for exception times and have a way to secure these to prevent the temptation to cheat (lockbox / safe).
- Set up the changing area, I do feel this is an important step in accepting this as being a reality.
- Make sure you have at least a 1 month diaper supply (120+ diapers)
- Review and agree the rules together and decide a starting date.
- Optionally, start them on Devrom a few days before to reduce the smell of BMâs and lower their embarrassment when getting used to messing their diaper regularly. It may also help you to normalize them being messy around you without accidentally giving a negative reaction.
- When the day comes you should take the lead and diaper them and remind them of the new rules.
- In the first few weeks give as much positive reassurance as possible, telling them theyâre good for wearing their diapers, when they wet them, when theyâre messy, etc.
When is the time is right to switch to true 24/7
24/7 Lite might be the perfect balance for you but itâs not unlikely that the time might come to switch to true 24/7.
Iâd recommend having at least a few months of 24/7 Lite working well before changing things but if youâre now used to seeing them diapered while dry, wet and messy, and diapers changes, wearing in public all feel routine it could be the right moment to increase things.
To do this you can decide to first remove cheat days meaning at home and when together theyâll always be diapered. Then switch to pull ups for exceptions and throw away all their underwear. Finally transition them to thinner diapers around colleagues, friends and family.
Who thinks this would be good for them or their partner?

WETTYORNAHâs Hypno Guide
DISCLAIMER: Hypnosis isnât for everyone. I understand that the idea of it is hard to believe for many people. The truth is, Iâm with those people. However, the magic of hypno is letting yourself try and believe it. It takes effort from a good hypnotist and effort from a good subject. If youâre expecting results off the bat, youâre failing yourself. Give it time, listen again and again, and try to believe. Eventually, you might find yourself in a situation you canât believe your way out of đ¤ˇđťââď¸
Iâve labeled them based on the type of hypno I like. As Iâm DL rather than AB, you wonât find much about regression or baby like behaviors. This list is mostly meant for encouragement to wear diapers, or bladder control. The three categories are bedwetting (self explanatory), lifestyle (stuff like committing to diapers, realizing theyâre right for you), and fuck yourself over (dangerous hypno that usually has a condition, like if you give in and wet, youâll never be able to stop) They are mostly meant for male listeners as far as I can tell.
So letâs get into it
BEDWETTING/LIFESTYLE
Curse Night Diapers - EMG
This one forces you to wear diapers to bed, along with wetting them. This one doesnât exactly encourage incontinence, but the fact youâre going to bed in diapers which you will wet will fulfill that desire to become a bedwetter.

BEDWETTING
Bed Wetter - Sarnoga
Doesnât encourage diapers, but does make you enjoy bedwetting. Thereâs mention that youâre too immature to choose diapers. This file basically sets you up to become a bedwetter and end up having someone make the choice for you that you need to wear diapers to bed. Great to use with the help of someone else.

FUCK YOURSELF OVER/BEDWETTING Bedwetter Fear to Reality - EMG
Makes you anxious about having an accident, you choose to wear diapers or not. Of course, if you do have an accident, thatâs it. One leads to another. Dangerous if you donât want to find yourself trapped

LIFESTYLE
Diaper Dependence 1 - Champtehotter
The first in his series of making you diaper dependent. This file causes you to commit to diapers and explains why you need them. This is a great first step, and then you can move on to the next one once this one has fucked your mind.

LIFESTYLE
Diaper Train 1 - Sarnoga
This hypno also encourages you to commit to diapers. Each lesson will have you wearing diapers more, first at home alone, then around people, then out in public. It does this by making you feel like you canât use a toilet to get relief. WARNING: this one did mess with me, and in some files encourages bedwetting even when sharing a bed just to prove you really need diapers.

LIFESTYLE
Every Good Boy Wears Diapers - Sarnoga
Explains every reason why you need diapers to avoid making messes. Diapers are the best choice for boys is the main message
WarpMyMind is the webs premier for those seeking Feminization, Dollification, Brain Washing, Sexual Slavery, Orgasm Control and Diaper Hypno
LIFESTYLE
The Diaper Does It - Sarnoga
Makes you love your diapers and give them your control. The main twist of this file is that if you donât wear diapers every so often, you will start having accidents in your pants. Basically makes a timer in your head so you must come back to diapers.

Thats it for now, I definitely got more but this took longer than I thought. I like every single one of these, and I think you will too. Let me know how it goes or which one you enjoyed most.
Is it possible to wear 24/7 without attaining any degree of muscular weakening/loss of control?
It's possible, in general terms. I currently don't know how to predict in advance whether it is possible in any specific person's case.
Say you literally just wear your diapers 24/7 and wet them. Say that, as a result of this, your ability to stay dry during the day slips slightly. This makes it more urgent for you to wear waterproof pants (because you're no longer as likely to know the moment you leak) and rework your wardrobe (to get clothes on which leaks aren't too obvious or damaging). It's also less practical for you to be out of diapers, so it's more urgent for you to throw out clothes that don't fit over them (so that it's less likely you will end up in a situation where you have to choose between, or combine, diapers and unfitting clothes).
Because you're now wearing waterproof pants and have a more leak-safe wardrobe, the circumstances under which it's unsafe to wet your diaper decrease. Because you no longer wear clothes that don't fit over your diapers, one of your reasons to stay dry (to wear specific items of clothing that didn't fit over your diapers) is gone. Over time these pressures make it more likely that you will voluntarily wet your diaper, so your control slips further.
Because your control has slipped further, it becomes more urgent for you to protect your bed and furniture, because you're wetting more in the same capacity diapers, so you're more likely to leak and more heavily. Even though at this point you're not planning to wet your bed, you still need to protect it because if you sit on it for a second and leak that's still going to be as much of a pain in the ass as if you soaked it in your sleep. Because the amount of water you're losing is increasing, it also becomes more important for you to drink more water.
It's obviously pretty impossible to know how much water you're losing from peeing, and if you're following health authority recommendations the amount you take in is likely to be more than the amount you put out, therefore you need to pee more. Because holding your pee is uncomfortable, this increases the pressure on you to just pee wherever.
Because you need to pee more and are increasingly both able to do it wherever and able to maximise your comfort by doing so, you are under increasing pressure to do it while lying down in your bed; the alternative is getting up in the middle of the night and going to the toilet, which might be abstractly useful for retaining continence, but is functionally unnecessary (because you're diapered) and takes energy. Because your bed is protected, the pressure on you not to do it lying down is decreased. Over time, you are more likely to voluntarily, then thoughtlessly, wet yourself while lying down in your bed, which maximises the likelihood that you will eventually start bedwetting.
When you start bedwetting, it's a paradigm shift. Socially, if you've managed to avoid telling anyone up to now, you're almost certainly going to have to tell someone at this point, because virtually any adult will not always be sleeping in their own bed. This:
decreases the social benefit from leaving diapers: that person will always know that you may not be 100% continent;
increases the social pressure to stay in diapers: you have a continence problem so it is reasonable to expect you to stay in diapers for the comfort of those around you;
slightly decreases the social utility of not telling anyone else: once someone else knows, it's out of your control, and they may well make an ethically sound or at least understandable decision to tell someone else, and so on; the more people who know a secret, the less the benefit of attempting to keep it.
More importantly, it is functionally significant. In the first place, bedwetting is likely to be irreversible after onset, so that alone places a cap on the maximum benefit achievable by your campaign to retain your control: even under ideal circumstances, you can no longer aim for "completely dry," only "bedwetter." In the second place, because of how untraining works, bedwetting is likely to undermine and erode your remaining daytime control, meaning that regardless of the conscious actions you take, your control is likely to diminish, and the maximum degree of daytime continence you can get back is likely to be diminished. Any effort you do put toward preserving or regaining your continence therefore has a smaller potential reward.
At this point, your daytime control is likely to be pretty awful too, meaning there is literally no point where the most convenient option is for you to be out of diapers; if you still have your underwear, they are just taking up space, both because you have minimal control right now and because you are relatively less likely to have underwear-ready control in future. This increases the pressure on you to get rid of them.
Let's say you've made your peace with all this and still don't want to mess. That's cool. Unrelated, let's recap where we are right now. You're a pantswetter and bedwetter who can't be out of diapers and doesn't own any underwear. You have good leak protection and furniture protection. If you could get back out of diapers, you can't make them secret because you've had to tell someone, but at any rate you will be in diapers at night for the rest of your life, and most likely during the day as well.
At this point, compared to where you started, it looks a lot more convenient to mess your diapers than it previously did, and a lot less convenient not to. One of the reasons it looks a lot less convenient to avoid it is economics. Most diapers that can deal with complete UI are not pull-ups and are not good at retaining their fit if they are used as such. Even among diapers that advertise that their tapes are refastenable, it is vanishingly rare for this to be true in practical terms. Using the toilet to mess essentially makes a diaper change necessary regardless. Depending on your bowel habits, this could significantly increase the number of diapers you go through.
It looks a lot more convenient to do it because you now have significant practice changing your diapers and maintaining decent diaper hygiene, and because long-term full-time wear of diapers and a quantifiable disability in the form of wetting makes it significantly more likely that you know about and can access appropriate diaper changing and disposable facilities when you need them.
Of course, messing is still a challenging prospect and this may not be a convincing case. That's completely okay. Unfortunately, there may be something functionally to say about it.
Sorry for the delay on following this one up â I had a pretty bad week for verbal skills.
At the end of the previous post, I mentioned that even after getting snowballed all the way into complete loss of urinary control, you may not be comfortable with messing your diapers regularly, let alone full-time. I also mentioned that, for functional reasons, it may not be completely within your control. Let's explore that in more depth.
How To Conduct Diaper Dependence Training
March 21, 2022 by Valeria Garcia
Diaper dependence training is the process of training yourself to start using diapers instead of the toilet. Diaper dependence is different from incontinence in that, Incontinence is a medical condition where an individual passes stool and urine uncontrollably while diaper dependence is learnt. It can also be referred to as unpotty training oneself. This article will discuss everything you need to know about diaper dependence training.
How to Train To Be Diaper Dependent
Training to lose continence is not a simple process considering that your bladder and bowel muscles have been controlled for many years. The level of training depends on whether you want to lose both bladder and bowel control or just the bladder.
Before you take the journey, it is important to be sure of the decision because retraining your muscles will be much harder.
Understand your bladder and bowel muscles
Diaper dependence training is a conscious replacement of behavior, and it calls you to understand how your bladder and bowel muscles function. The process involves altering what your body does after getting a certain message from the muscles and bladder.
The process will take long because despite the great urge to use the toilet, the body can control itself. Teaching your body to release without a second thought will take you a while, but you will get there eventually.
Increase your fluids intake
Before training the bowels, you must get it right with the bladder. Normally we pee a lot than we empty our bowels. The number of times you visit the toilet to pee depends on how much fluids you have taken.
Therefore, double or even triple your liquids intake. If you used to take one cup of coffee in the morning, increase that to two. During the day, take more water and other drinks than you used to.
With more fluids in your body, you will get the bladder full and you will want to empty more often.
If you never used to take breakfast, you will have to start because you need the liquids for your mission.

Do not use the toilet for peeing
The goal is to get yourself not to pee in the toilet anymore. Therefore, allow yourself to pee on your diapers and trust that there will be no leakages. For the first days, peeing while standing or walking will be a huge challenge. To make it easy for you, sit on the toilet with your diaper still on and pee.
After a week or so of pretending to pee in the toilet with your diapers on, it will no longer be a struggle. For the best experience and comfort, make sure to purchase high-absorbed diapers. You will not experience discomfort from the wetness but a warm feeling with high absorbed diapers.
At the initial stage of diaper dependence training, never hold your pee even if you risk a leaking diaper. Your muscles must know that they can release all the time.
Do not hold back when you want to poop
Do not hold back when your stomach rumble with the need to poop. Fill your diaper and experience the good feeling you have been looking forward to. However, you will have to deal with the smell, and it is best if you only poo while at home or in a private space; otherwise, everyone around you will be holding their nose.
Whatâs more, changing a diaper with poo is a lot of work, therefore limit that to when you are at home only. Walking around with a full and smelly diaper with all eyes on you is not something you want to experience.
Use high absorbed and thick diapers
It is important to keep your bladder working during the first stages of diaper dependence training. This means that your diapers will fill up very fast. To avoid frequent changes, unless itâs after a poo, invest in thick diapers which can hold a lot of urine.
Low absorbed diapers will wet very fast and make you uncomfortable and even develop diaper rash, which might discourage you from the training.

Eat foods that keep your bladder and bowel going
ďżźreport this adTo succeed in diaper dependence training, you must eat foods that make you want to use the toilet more and regulate your bodyâs water balance. Here is a suggestion of what your diet should look like;
Breakfast- regular breakfast, drink something with caffeine (tea or coffee), 8oz water, an apple, oat cereals, or a bran
Snack- Yogurt, 8oz of water
Lunch- regular lunch, a banana, almonds, cranberry juice, 8oz water
Afternoon snack- a cup of catnip tea, blackberries
Dinner- typical dinner, teaspoon olive oil, something with soy, 8oz water
Before bed- 8oz water, watermelon
The foods suggested above keep your bowel loose and keep your bladder full. Be sure that you will need to use the toilet a lot more than you used to, but this time on your diapers. To keep yourself comfortable, invest in high-quality and high-absorbed diapers. Once you are fully diaper trained, you can start using regular diapers.
Keep a journal
At the start, it is important to record your progress. You can do this by putting it down on paper or using tracking applications. Also, track the number of diapers you are using. This will help you determine the best diapers for different situations.
Expect to note downfalls, ups, and even a plateau from the recording. Celebrate yourself at whatever phase you are in because your body is changing, and it does not come easy. Undoing what you have knowns all your life cannot be easy.

Brute Force Bedwetting - A Training Guide
Materials Required:
Diapers, cloth or disposable, mattress covers, clock with multiple alarm settings, childâs wetting calender
Preparation - week before training begins:
1st the trainee must understand that from the start of training they are to be considered a bedwetter in every sense of the word. The term âNocturnal Enuresisâ should be a readily available if a nurse or doctor asks if the trainee has a medical condition. They do have a medical condition, and they should understand that now before the training really begins. This needs to be understood in all itâs permutations: there will be no place the trainee wonât be able to wet, they will have to wear protection every night. There will be embarrassing questions, and staying over with friends, and dating will be forever changed by this behavior.
2nd the trainee should start going to bed at an early time. 10pm would be ideal, but as late as 11 pm works. If the trainee works on a specific schedule adjust times so that they should get at least 8 hours of sleep nightly. They should also get in the habit of having a drink before bed.
3rd the trainee should begin sleeping in the diapers that they will be wearing most through the training. Cloth diapers are recommended. They should be comfortable sleeping in the diaper, and should practice wetting while laying in bed, finding the most comfortable positions to do so.
4th the trainee should be prepared to be honest about their wetting. There will be some aspects of the later phases where the trainee will have to self report how their night went, and the only way to establish the proper behavior is if the trainee reports honestly.
Phase 1 - The New Behavior Paradigm - 1 month duration
Take the clock and set three alarms for 1AM, 2AM and 3AM. These times are important because it allows the trainee to get a solid amount of sleep, but not enough for a full nights sleep. The clock dial should then be covered, and from now on any other clock in the room that is visible from the bed should either be removed, covered or turned away so that it isnât visible from the bed. This is so that the trainee doesnât adapt to a single specific time to wet, and that the only solid trigger for wetting is the alarm. Every day choose an alarm at random to set. When the trainee has gone to bed, the alarm will wake them. They will then turn off the alarm and wet, moving as little as possible, then go back to sleep. This will be repeated every night until the end of the training. What this does is establish a new behavior. That behavior is conscious wetting at night. They key point is to get the trainee to sleep, then wet, then sleep. At first the behavior will be difficult. There will be many sleepless nights, and early on there will be anticipation and insomnia. But as time passes and the trainee gets used to the schedule, they will fall into a regular sleep cycle. Later in this phase the adaptation to the nightly disruption may result in automatically return to sleep without wetting. This behavior should be punished appropriately. As long as the alarm is set the trainee should always wake wet in the morning. By the end of this phase, the trainee should be wetting every night consistently without requiring punishment. If this is not the case, repeat the phase until it is so.
Phase 2 - Maintaining Behavior Under Differing Conditions - 1 month duration
The first phase is to establish the night wetting behavior. This second phase is to establish comfort and acceptance of this new behavior. A bedwetter is a person that wets in their sleep, regardless of what they are wearing. At this point we donât have a bedwetter, but a person that wets a diaper at the sound of an alarm. Consider the different clothing variations that the trainee might experience when sleeping. So far theyâve been wearing diapers. But maybe they have cloth and disposable diapers. What if they were wearing regular underwear? Or all these variations fully clothed, or completely nude. Once the variations are figured out, set a random schedule, and continue the use of the alarm clock-wetting routine with the added variation of the different conditions. Keep in mind that this phase requires the most cleaning, make sure that you have many extra sets of sheets and the mattress is protected. Now that the new behavior has been established it is still unfortunately a specific habit: The trainee has so far been trained to wet a diaper at night. What the trainee needs is to be comfortable wetting and being wet. This phase helps the trainee to learn to be comfortable in a wet bed, or wet clothes and still able to return to a sleeping state. If by the end of the month the trainee is still having trouble returning to a regular sleep cycle, repeat the phase until they have done so.
Phase 3 - Weening and Reward - 12 week minimum duration
At this point the trainee has spent at least two months consistently wetting at night. In the mind of the trainee two things have happened, the behavior has become a habit, and the brain has gotten used to urinating during the three hour alarm period at night. By repetition we are creating the urge to urinate during this period even thought the trainee has most likely not yet felt that urge because of the alarm. This phase is the trickiest part of the training. Up until now the trigger for wetting has been the alarm. Now we turn off the alarm. But it canât be done all at once. So the trainee must be weened slowly off the alarm until it becomes unnecessary. Start by randomly selecting one night of the week. This will be the night the alarm wonât be activated. A random day will be chosen for the next two weeks, and ideally every two weeks the number of days per week that the alarm is inactive will increase by one until after twelve weeks the alarm is no longer necessary. Because this phase can be extremely tricky be prepared to delay progress or even return to phase 2 until the desired behavior is achieved. The childâs wetting calendar will come in handy at this point as it will be easy to track the traineeâs progress. The behavior that is desired is that on nights that the trainee doesnât experience the alarm, they will still wet. Realistically there are three possible scenarios when the alarm is off: The trainee sleeps through the night, the trainee wakes because of the established habit of waking at this time, or the trainee doesnât wake but still wets. If the trainee should wake, they should wet before returning to sleep.Early in this phase donât worry if the trainee sleeps through the wetting period, however donât progress with the weening if the trainee hasnât wet after the first four weeks. When the trainee does wet, either by waking or sleeping, reward the behavior. Show the trainee that this is the desired behavior, and that it will be rewarded, and the trainee will have a greater incentive to continue the behavior. In this way also the mind of the trainee will be conditioned to want to wet. As the wetting behavior continues without the alarm, the trainee will require waking less and less. As it is, with the alarm activated, after so long the trainee ought not even need to stay awake, but might even be falling asleep while wetting after having experienced the situation so many times. So now with the alarm inactive the sleep wetting has a chance to occur naturally. By the seventh to eighth week, the randomized condition training begun in the second phase can end provided the trainee has shown the ability to wet in each of the conditions without the alarm. Once the trainee has been able to wet, awake or asleep, without the alarm at least 50% of the time this phase can end after at least two weeks of only one night where the alarm is activated per week.
Phase 4 - The Bedwetter and Diminishing Returns
At this point the trainee has established the ability to wet at night without the need for an alarm. As well because the alarm is no longer being used, most of the time the trainee should be wetting without waking. However this is also taking up a lot rewards. But since the trainee is now a bedwetter, they donât need the rewards. But still we canât just stop, so like he alarm we must ween the trainee. At the start of this phase we change the reward scheme to only reward nights where the trainee has only wet in their sleep. Do that for several weeks. Keep in mind the wetting calendar will be very handy at this point. Once the trainee has gotten used to this new reward scheme reduce the reward period from one night to two nights. After several weeks reduce it again to three nights. Every few weeks keep reducing the rewards until it takes a full week to wet. This will wen the trainee off the rewards, but it will also encourage more wetting since the mind of the trainee is conditioned to be rewarded for wetting. At this point donât end the rewards all together, but keep it up for the next month or so in order to continue o encourage the wetting behavior. The rarity of reward will encourage greater regularity of the wetting behavior. When the trainee is wetting 75% of the time or more should the rewards end, and the training period officially end.
A Word on Punishment and Reward
Notice that when I mention punishment I said âthis behavior should be punished appropriately. I am not a proponent of harsh punishments, nor do I pretend to know all the various dynamics that might come into play between trainee and trained, or even trainee by themselves. Punishment need only be as harsh as necessary to be effective, and the trainer ought to know best what is most effective punishment. No punishment should result in injury. Rewards can be tricky. As often as a trainee might wet the bed, it will be difficult to reward with stuff, because that could be expensive in the long term. I recommend sensory rewards like pleasure or even orgasm, but that implies a greater control and specific relationship on the part of the trainer. As with punishment the trainer has the best understanding of the trainee, and the nature of their relationship. Reward appropriately.
Uncontrolled Wetting in Diapers Only
By BitterGrey with contributions from Tad Pole, Herry, and Peter Pan of BBIF
Also called "conditional incontinence", wetting like a baby only when wearing diapers might seem like the best of both worlds. It can give a taste of what incontinence might be like without requiring wearing diapers 24/7, possibly for the rest of one's life. It might offer easy, carefree wetting, but not the sense of being "back in diapers", forever dependent on them. It is the flipside of having a shy bladder; being unable to not wet the diaper, as opposed to being unable to wet it. The methods are similar as well.
Expectations
"If I'm not wearing a nappy I can work for hours without feeling any urge to pee. In a trusted nappy I find myself wetting every 20 minutes or so... almost, but not quite, without thinking about it. This happens straight away, even if I've not worn a nappy for some weeks." -Tad Pole
It might be best to expect only partial success. The first reason is biological: Conditional incontinence requires everything to work. In contrast, basic incontinence can be achieved by crippling one of a list of habits, reflexes, or muscle groups.
Furthermore, a sense of success might be more elusive than actual success. Consider a person who sometimes dribbled without conscious control when in a wet diaper, but who's sphincter would reflexively tighten in response to larger flows. Unaware of the dribbling, he'd think he still had complete control.
With practice, it is reasonable to expect easier, less intentional, more frequent wetting when in diapers. These might or might not be counted as "accidents." The transition between the two modes is most clear when putting the first diaper on. You might find yourself wetting the diaper shortly after taping it up, even though you didn't need to pee before.
As with many things, individual results will vary. Note that those with shy bladders might not necessarily have a harder time with this; they won't need to get control, just change some behaviors they don't control.
Methods
Much of what we think of as control is actually a subconscious association of when it is OK to urinate, and when it is not. We need to modify those associations, as well as some habits and practices. There are a number of methods that can be used. We'll start with the basics: Being consistent, eliminating negatives, and not over-thinking. You'll probably be using these methods even if you decide to focus on one of the other methods, such as hypnosis, visualization, and lying.
Be Consistent
Consistency is critical. First and most simply, forbid yourself from ever holding pee when in diapers. This involves never wearing diapers anywhere or anytime you wouldn't want to wet, and never wearing a diaper you can't trust. Decide if you wish to be incontinent while changing into a diaper as well, and make the necessary preparations to wet then sometimes too.
Having more clues will help, but be aware of what those clues are. Your subconscious, nervous system, etc., don't magically know whether you are in a diaper or not. As a result, having clues other than just the diaper will help. Wetness is one that you've probably already experienced: Wetting the diaper a second time is easier than the first. Other clues include time of Day (such as evenings or bedtimes) and penis position (such as 'up' only when undiapered and 'down' only when diapered). These and other clues should be used consistently or intentionally made inconsistent. For example, wetness wouldn't be an appropriate clue for an ABDL who swims often, but swimming often would also provide the inconsistency needed to prevent wetness from being used as a clue.
Not Over-thinking
Maximizing the positives during your training, such as praising yourself for progress, giving yourself an affirmation of what you want, or simply taking the time to enjoy the process of wetting might help. However, they also involve consciously focusing on wetting. Herry points out that "focusing on wetting keeps it at the conscious level, but the goal is to get the automatic wetting into the subconscious level. I think it's like Quantum physics, where the attempts to measure the outcome affect the results" As a result, it might be best to give as little thought as possible to wetting before you do it, and maybe even while you are doing it.
There also might be a temptation to stop what you are doing, stand still, and wait to wet. This dedicates too much intentional thought and preparation to what we hope to be an accidental surprise. It might be better just to go about what you are doing and let the bladder empty later, when it is ready. Assuming that holding still isn't necessary to avoid pain or the risk of flooding, that is.
Eliminating Punishment
Eliminating the negative results - punishments - is probably the most effective approach, mainly because it provides a better overall experience in addition to helping with retraining. One negative experience can undo much positive progress.
The most ubiquitous punishment of wetting diapers is the risk of leaks. It is important to have confidence in your diaper and all the other layers of insurance. Tad Pole shares that "Wetting a thick nappy in a bed protected by a rubber sheet is easy. Wetting a thin nappy in an unprotected bed almost impossible." Herry adds "the conscious needs to know the diapers will work in order for the subconscious to use them."
This leak avoidance sometimes conflicts with wetness as a clue: If you are having trouble wetting a dry diaper, making it feel wet will help, but if you are having trouble with a wet diaper, it might be time to change into a dry one. Your subconscious might be able to accurately gauge the risk of leakage - and not wet a diaper that is about to leak.
Other Methods
Unlike the methods above, these methods will require an invested effort that might be ineffective. They include hypnosis, visualization, and lying.
Hypnosis can range from a full hypnosis regimen or just a suggestion file playing in the background while you work out. Here too, consistency plays a role: Wetting during a particular hypnotist's file will be easier if you always wear diapers when listening to that hypnotist.
Visualization is a method used by athletes to mentally rehearse the desired performance. It has limitations here because we aren't able to see critical parts of the performance, and so have to imagine. Also, it lacks the submission involved with hypnosis as well as the large collections of free files.
Lying: Disbelieved control is negated. Any method that convinces you that you are losing control might affect your beliefs and practices, eliminating control. An intentionally wet diaper and a helplessly wet diaper are exactly the same except for a brief intention, followed only by a memory. We don't really need to become conditionally incontinent: We can achieve the same effect by convincing ourselves that we are. This belief would then circularly, magically result in behaviors and emotions consistent with uncontrollable wetting while in diapers only. The lie then becomes true. This method has limitations, of course, especially for those who are researching untraining methods.
These secondary methods might or might not work for you.
Cautions
The application of these methods might have undesirable side-effects, including reduced capacity, fuzzy transitions, and misread clues.
As with most bodily functions, bladder capacity and control will decrease if not used. The rate of this decrease varies. Herry commented that "It got to the point where, day or night, I'd need to pee every hour or two." Tad Pole writes "If I've been wearing nappies a lot for a few days and then stop, the next day or so I feel the urge to pee often and feel I have to get up to go straight away when the urge hits me. After a while this disappears."
In addition to decreased capacity, the transition between uncontrolled and controlled might not be as immediate as we'd like. Peter Pan shares "I wear a cloth nappy every night. ... In the morning my bladder will sometime take a while to wake up and I wet my nappy uncontrollably till it does. I'm not always aware that I'm wetting my nappy."
Finally, there is the risk that clues might be misread. For example, the author discovered by accident that his body was using penis position as a clue. Fortunately training wasn't at the point where this caused an accident out of diapers.
Since retraining for uncontrolled wetting in diapers only is a gradual process for most, dealing with these is a matter of small adjustments to practice while wearing diapers sometimes and not wearing sometimes. Herry continued ..." Since then I've been working on regaining capacity. I suspect I've lost the uncontrolled wetting at night-time. It's something I liked having, but I'm not sure it's worth the loss of holding power." This gradual adjustment with working (or mostly working) biology is much easier than, for example, deciding not to wear 24/7 and having to retrain from some level of incontinence.
Conclusion
While not the full experience of incontinence, reducing wetting control while in diapers can add to the ABDL experience without immoderate risks. If you wear diapers often, you are probably some small measure into the process of uncontrolled diaper wetting. These methods might help you accelerate the process, although an ideal conditional incontinence might be difficult to achieve. Hopefully while reading this article, you developed a clearer picture of where you would like to be and are better equipped to get there (or back to there).
Accepting my boyfriend is ABDL
I thought Iâd write a little about how I have gone from my initial reaction to my boyfriendâs coming out as ABDL (adult baby, diaper lover), which was along these lines:
OK, you like a harmless, peculiar, thing. I find the thought of you indulging in it unappealing, and a bit of a turn off, but I am happy for you to indulge, as long as you are happy for me not to be involved. Never hide it from me, and never be ashamed.
To my current feelings, which are:Â
I GET TO BE A LITTLE GIRL! I AM EXCITE! And hopefully that will go well and then I can be a caregiver to you as a little too! And then we can play TOGETHER as a pair of littles! And oh my gosh, itâd be great if I can go to his event soon with him.
How did this change happen? Iâve thought about it at length. The things that have really helped have been:
1. He explained at the start that itâs not entirely just sexual (in fact, I think he said it wasnât really sexual at all - hah! I think that was a white lie, what I needed to hear at the time). He clearly explained to me how itâs about feeling safe, cosy, loved and being in a different frame of mind where the usual adult junk doesnât matter. I know for some people itâs not sexual at all, and for others, itâs majorly sexy, but what he said made me comfortable at the time. He used the phrase âage playâ to describe his fetish, which I found easier to deal with than âdiaper fetishâ or something.Â
2. He made it clear I could ask ANY questions, WHENEVER I wanted, and made sure he answered them all sincerely, frankly, and as as clearly as he could. Some of them took a while to answer - like when I started to ask how it is sexy to him. This is because he hasnât had to answer those questions before. If he was stuck on how to answer something, he told me so, and I patiently put it on the back-burner. I found his frankness, clarity of thought and ability to articulate some difficult stuff really attractive. Heâs a good âun.Â
3. He made it clear that I donât have to do anything or get involved. It could entirely just be his thing, that he goes off to events to enjoy a few times a year, or in his alone time. This put me at ease - no pressure! That was great.Â
4. When I started exploring the fetish, he expressed how super happy it made him (even if it was a bit surreal for him!). I checked out some sites, to see what sort of clothes he might wear, and when I felt brave enough, sent him a link to a romper that I thought he could get away with wearing as cute pajamas around the house, that wasnât TOO babyish. He made it clear he was really touched that I was even curious. Positive reinforcement is a great motivator!
5. He explained to me that it isnât related to some childhood trauma, and stressed that he had a brilliant childhood. He tackled that subject head on, and that put my mind at rest, and meant I wasnât wondering about how to engage in such a delicate conversation. Itâs not my business, of course, unless he chooses to make it as such, but I would hate to accidentally trigger some disturbing memories in chatting around ABDL stuff. I know this will vary a lot for other folk, and I have my own issues in that area, but it helped me to understand that itâs just how he is built.Â
6. He made it clear it didnât involve anyone else, aside from folk he plays with at events / meet ups, and the folk who change him. He doesnât have what Iâd now call a caregiver, and events donât involve any sexy happenings with other people.Â
7. When I expressed an interest in seeing sexy changing times, he hooked me right up with some videos. Iâve got a soft spot for porn where one partner is submissive and dominated in the most genteel way (massage videos?! Jeez, I canât imagine just lying there in the buff, fully lit, in such an intense situation. I know, Iâm such a weed :D ). This has replaced the slightly rougher stuff I was into when I was younger. After seeing a few bits on Tumblr, I realised that changing times might be considered gentle sub-dom. It was a bit less weird than I expected. In fact, the first video I chose to watch featured lockable mittens and I was over the moon to see such adorable fetish equipment. Now Iâve seen some that are downright hot. Lovely smut :) Â
8. We talk about our fantasies. This isnât always easy, and I think he still worries about me being grossed out by his interests, but the long and short of it is, my boyfriend wants me to wear some giant padded undies, cute clothes that I adore, and take me for a picnic. I may or may not find it super sexy, but that just sounds like a great afternoon! And I wouldnât have to pee in the bushes in the park ;). I know that if I wanted to try something different, heâd be happy to hear me out and give it some serious thought.Â
9. Finally, and most importantly, I think, is he has both a sense of scale and a sense of humour about his ABDL desires. For instance, when I told him I was curious and interested in trying out being a little, he asked if he had to watch Formula 1 with me in return, a sport I love and he thinks is rubbish. Newp ;). His ability to laugh at the situation keeps me at ease.
Itâs not been an overnight thing, itâs taken a couple of months for me to reach this point. I can honestly say I 100% *support* him in his interests, and some of them now sound super appealing and fun to me, and I hope that I will enjoy partaking too. I know that I might not - all sorts of situations are appealing in the mind and then you get into them and think.. oh shit, no. Not for me. But Iâll continue to support him, and I know that I have now accepted this part of him, which I was worried I never fully could.
Reasons for wearing diapers
Adult diapers are often seen as âtabooâ for members that arenât familiar with the concept of âDLâ and it can really be hard to justify or explain the need (or desire) to wear them. In saying this, Iâve often thought about situations in life that diapers for adults would not only be beneficial but almost definitely necessary.Â
To me, diapers are a form of âsexualizedâ clothing (like a jockstrap, sexy undies and lingerie) but thatâs definitely not the case with everybody else. This surprises me as they CAN be an extremely functional product if used effectively in day to day life.
What appeals to me about this type of underwear is gives the user an ability to service their own body when restraints wonât allow allow them to. Iâve thought of a few situations that Iâve been in (or been exposed to in some way) that would be ideal for this type of underwear.
1. Air travel
Long haul, short haul - itâs still going to be some what of a process to get to your destination. Thereâs getting to the airport, finding the designated area for your airline, sorting out luggage and youâll probably be doing it in a rush. Bathrooms are always busy (but probably clean) and it would seem to me more of a chore than a relieve to use the facilities at an airport. Thatâs just before take off!
Imagine youâre an hour to go on a flight⌠admiring the view from the window seat. Youâve just demolished three ice teas and theyâre now pushing on your bladder. You think itâs okay because planes have toilets, right? Wrong. The seat belt sign comes on and everyone must be seated. The plane experiences turbulence, nothing major but enough to require additional safety measures. The seats are small and the other two passengers beside you would need to leave their seats to let you out. You are essentially trapped and have no choice but to hold your bladder and wait. Tell me right now a diaper would not save your ass. Nobodyâs going to know if you pee yourself but they will if youâre just wearing Calvinâs.
2. Road trips
Majority of long haul trips are planned around âbathroom stopsâ which are hard to come by in almost all âlongerâ car journeys. Nobody wants to stop in the middle of the night in unfamiliar territory to urinate. If a mobile phone can throw off your guard whilst driving, imagine what a full bladder could do. If youâve got the privacy of your own vehicle, why not wear undies that could get you to your destination quicker. This would enable the driver to keep hydrated and eliminate dangerous or unnecessary stops.
Do you really want to be trying the âpee in a bottleâ thing when youâre stuck in traffic on a 4 lane highway, broad day light and in eye sight of other people who are looking for visual stimuli? Itâs good in theory to be able to âpull overâ anytime but sometimes you canât; and Murphyâs law says thatâs when youâre gonna need to wee.Â
3. Concerts
Concert venues certainly have bathroom facilities⌠but they arenât attached to you. When youâre an hour in (which youâve spent fighting for your right to be that little bit closer) youâd be mega-pissed (pun) if you had to give that all up just because you had to take a piss. If youâre at the front of the fucking concert there is no chance youâd be scoring that again. Imagine if the facilities were apart of your outfit, under your shorts or pants. Imagine if you didnât have to forfeit your position just because you drank a few beers a couple of hours ago.Â
4. Hangover (or illness)
The most bittersweet thing about a bender or a wild night is the recovery process. This period is normally the same as the time âpartyingâ except itâs spent essentially bedridden, with a headache and a stomach full of last nights vodka. If you are trying to recover peacefully from the best weekend ever, the thought of getting up to use the bathroom can be headache inducing. Youâve tried to counteract the alcohol with water before settling in to bed but itâs only made the bathroom uses more frequent. You just want to lay on your phone or sleep.Â
Hypothetically speaking, wouldnât it be kinda perfect if you could just lay back and âgoâ, letting your body flush out all the toxins on itâs own accord. Tell me in a state of post intoxication that you wouldnât prefer just to piss in your underwear without a worry? I mean, youâll probably piss the bed anyway.
5. Cinemas
Youâre going to a public place to watch a lengthy movie youâve paid top dollar to experience. Youâve been excited to see this movie since it was announced. Youâve allowed a hefty budget for the candy bar which means a very large soft drink and heaps of wholesome junk food. Would you really want to miss the vital part of the movie to tend to your bladder, when in actual fact you could just âgoâ whenever the urge comes? A dark room, full of sound⌠everyone is focused on the movie theyâve paid to see and not what undies youâre wearing⌠so why not get every cent out of your overpriced movie ticket.
6. Pay Toilets
These arenât that common but theyâre definitely a thing. If you are travelling or live in an area where these capitalistic facilities are prevalent, then you could literally save money by pissing in your pants. Stick it, pay toilets. Iâve bought my own.
7. Housing with shared bathrooms
If you donât have your own bathroom in a college dormitory, why not wear your own?Â
8. Cold nights and youâre already in bed
9. Thereâs no pause in online gaming
10. Sports that require protective gear
Snowboarding can be fun. It requires a lot of clothing and protection to allow for a good experience. If youâre wearing all that gear and need to quickly take it off to piss⌠why?Â
Can anybody think of some other examples of when diapers wouldâve been even mildly useful?
Itâs true but donât forget when you are on a date with a marvellous man or woman, or at the restaurant with disgusting toilets

How I Became A Chronic Bedwetter
So I just want to make a quick disclaimer at the start. This post is telling you how I, personally, started wetting the bed every night. To my knowledge, nobody else has tried doing this method, and even the people I have shared this with previously who wanted to do it never actually went through with it, so Iâm pretty sure Iâm the only one who has done this. I tailored this method completely to myself and canât tell you that this will work for everyone because nobody else has ever tried it.Â
Some of you may have originally seen this method on a Wordpress site I made back in 2016, as I uploaded it there originally and it got about 500 views, but because of so many requests, I decided to rewrite it and post it here on Tumblr : )
Scary ominous warning at the start, I absolutely detested the experience of doing this method, and even to this day, I remember how much it fucking sucked. Iâm not telling you to do this, this is just what I did and what has made me a permanent, relentless bedwetter for the past almost four years.
In my strong belief, everything about each kind of untraining is hugely mental in nature. There are physical elements to it, like muscle degradation, but like 80% of untraining is essentially just retraining our body and our subconscious mind into accepting and embracing incontinence.
What I did to start bedwetting was kind of prey on and take advantage of my subconscious in a way.Â
For a period of about a month straight, and I do mean a month, I drank a lot of water before bed and then went to sleep without a diaper on. As you can probably imagine, all that water before bed caused me to wake up in the middle of the night with a pretty strong urge to go to the bathroom (if you are not a light sleeper, this wouldnât work). What I did was, instead of wetting myself as soon as I woke up like other guides mention (which would have been a bit unpleasant anyway as I wasnât wearing diapers), I made myself get up and walk to the bathroom to use the toilet instead, every single night.Â
Iâll tell you right now, doing this for an entire month was literally one of the worst experiences Iâve ever had in my entire life. I was constantly losing sleep and was constantly tired every day because of how interrupted my rest was, but I guess the reason I stuck with it was because I was pretty fucking hardcore about wanting to be a bedwetter at the time.
Finally, after all that, the end of the month came, and I introduced diapers to my probably completely exhausted and unhappy subconscious as an easy out to its current predicament. For those unaware, our subconscious mind will pretty much do anything it can to avoid pain or discomfort, and it will do everything it can to use as little energy as possible in running the body.
On that first night after the month of hell, I wore diapers to bed.
Like before, I drank a lot of water before going to sleep, and also like before, my body woke me up with a very full bladder. What was different this time though is that instead of making myself get up and walk all the way to the bathroom to use the toilet, I just let my bladder go and very happily wet my diaper while still laying in bed, before going back to sleep.Â
The next night I did the same thing again. I drank a lot before going to sleep, and I wore a diaper to bed. This time though, I didnât wake up during the night at all. I awoke actually feeling pretty refreshed for once, which in itself was a relief because Iâd gone so long waking up exhausted, but that wasnât the only thing that had happened. My diaper was completely soaked when I woke up.
This was the turnaround point in my nighttime incontinence. I had put my body and mind through hell for an entire month, before showing them both that there was a much easier way to deal with the problem than waking me up.Â
From that day onwards, I started waking up wet more and more. I was still having dry nights here and there to start with, but as my body kept learning and kept finding no problem in making me wet while still asleep, it kept happening again and again.Â
Over the course of months after that day, my body got fully in the habit of making me a complete bedwetter, because why would it ever wake me up when it was so much easier to just make me wet myself in my sleep? I went from three to four wet nights a week to it being incredibly strange to wake up dry even once or twice a month. I even had to get thicker, more absorbent diapers because my body just stopped holding anything back, and it wasnât uncommon at the time to wake up in a leaking diaper in the morning.Â
So, thatâs how I became a chronic bedwetter almost four years ago. I donât think I would really recommend my method because it was just so bad dealing with all the sleep deprivation, but I canât argue with the results that it has given me. Becoming a bedwetter was one of the best decisions Iâve ever made in my entire life, and Iâve never once regretted it in all this time, even on the mornings where I wake up in a wet patch because my diaper has failed. Thereâs just something about it that is so insanely special to me, and unlike making yourself incontinent during the day, which I wouldnât recommend to everyone, I would recommend becoming a bedwetter to anyone who has the interest. Itâs really not that big of a deal to have to wear diapers to bed every night, and the happiness and satisfaction I get from waking up in a completely soaked diaper in the morning is just totally unmatched.Â
Top Ten Little Things a Spouse Can Do for Their ABDL...
Been meaning to write this for awhile⌠my wife is not into diapers, but is very understanding of my interest in them. While she does not enjoy wearing them, she has no problem if I feel the need to put one on. Still, she finds little ways to be a part of my fetish without having to make herself uncomfortable.
Here is a quick list of the top ten ways she adds to the diaper experience without wearing one herself. If you have a spouse that does not want to play an active role in your diaper play, maybe they might still be willing to do some of these things:
10. Makes me diaper myself in front of her.
I can get shy when I decide to put on a diaper. I usually will retreat to a private area to get suited up, but she will often put her foot down and tell me to just diaper up in front of her. Sheâs never really looking since she isnât really interested, but the idea that she might be watching is very appealing.
9. Draws attention to the fact that I am wearing.
She doesnât ever do it unless we are alone (she knows I donât want anyone else to know). During those times she will mention that I am crinkling, or give a playful slap on my butt. Sometimes she will just grab me and nod her approval.
8. Demands I strip down to check me out.
If I am wearing a pair of sweatpants or loose pajama pants and walk by she occasionally will stop me and tell me to drop my pants. Sheâll then have me turn around a few times, and revel in my shyness. Sometimes sheâll drop a remark if I am wet, saying I need to go change.
7. Makes me wet in front of her.
This is pretty huge for me, since I am a bit shy when it comes to peeing. It doesnât happen often, but there have been times where sheâll tell me to wet myself and wait until I obey.
6. Makes me wear in public.
Another huge one, since she knows I feel awkward going out in public with a diaper. Almost any trip to the movies she will check to see that I am wearing a diaper before we go. There is no feeling as awesome as when she pulls back the back of my pants to make sure I am all diapered up for a movie with her. However sometimes it is also for regular outings. Weâll be going out and she will tell me to go put on a diaper before we go. Or I have an errand to run and sheâll ask if Iâm wearing a diaper.
She doesnât do it for herself, itâs only because she knows I love it when she does it. I had to sit down and ask her to do it in the beginning, but now itâs just second nature for her.
5. Mentions diapers during sex.
She wonât wear a diaper, but she doesnât mind talking about it. Sheâll often mention what sheâd look like if she put one on, using at as a form of âdirty talkâ that appeals to me.
4. Never asks⌠commands.
She knows that it is more of a thrill for me if I donât have a choice, so she will make it a point of forcing me to put on a diaper. She notices when I am in the mood, or just need a pick me up, and will suddenly get an evil look in hereyes and say, âGo put on a diaper. NOW.âÂ
3. Surprises me with a prolonged diapering.
This can happen out of the blue, where she will suddenly tell me to wear diapers around the clock. Usually she will allow me to use the toilet when I need to poop, but the best times are when she doesnât even allow that. The times that I would ask permission to use the toilet to poop, and she would say no, are probably some of my best diapered moments.
2. Interrupts me in the bathroom and gives me a diaper.
To be fair, when I need to poop I can be in the bathroom for thirty minutes or more and my wife hates to wait. On occasion she will come in and give me a diaper, telling me to get off the toilet. I donât get any say in this and have to vacate the bathroom for her immediately.
There have also been instances where I need to be doing something (like cleaning or packing to go out for a weekend) when my stomach starts cramping up. This usually means that I am out of commission for twenty minutes while she continues on her own. Sometimes she gets fed up and makes me put on a diaper instead so I can keep helping.Â
1. She is accepting, even though it is not her thing.
Bottom line, she accepts me for who I am and doesnât let my love of diapers bother her in the least. She finds little ways to add to my experience without allowing it to affect her. She recognizes that this is something I need, and has always helped to make me feel better about myself. She makes sure I donât look at diapers as a negative aspect of my life.
BEST. WIFE. EVER.
Thatâs all that any of us want in a relationship. To be loved and excepted!
