anyway au where Michael is the best weapon /soldier (bc he's not fully human, he's a genetically engineered bioweapon ((and idk maybe he's also a cyborg)) called classed as Archangel) from a settlement called Eden (which is in a war with several coalitions that form an organization called the Nine Circles) and he almost dies in a ditch after a particularly bad mission but Adam Milligan (who is a doctor for a certain survivor camp led by his brothers) saves him without knowing what he is and they become friends and then after he realizes what Michael is, still stays friends but doesn't tell his brothers bc they hate both sides of the war bc it's all just a big pissing contest to them, and Michael has gotten crazy attached to this human doctor and is also keeping it hush hush, may or may not be assisting the camp from the shadows when he can, and you can see where this is going
