Panoramic wallpaper collection : Japan I.

I did another batch of 2k wallpapers, this time going into my old pictures from Japan, taken between 2010 and 2015. Contrary to (most of) the ones I made in Norway, these are not true panoramas.

What strikes me immediately, compared to my most recent pictures, is how much more attuned to patterns and graphical elements I was back then.

It's Tokyo's influence of course, but not only. My mind works a bit differently now.

The complete Icelandic staves / Ásatrú symbol series. Each artwork is representing an element. They are presented here in the following order : fire, earth, metal, water, wood and air. The symbols are accompanied by stanzas of the Hávamál or Völuspá, written in runes.
