It was not a job his family had approved of, nor had he been able to remain a part of it (at least in his parents minds) but still, he had to pay his way through law school somehow. In the end, it was an entertaining job for him. He got as much of the thing he craved most and men got extremely worked up over him. Tonight, there was someone who’d caught his eye.
Long purple strands graced his features and Koumei was certain he was as large in more than just his height. As the stripper shook his hips back and forth, wiggling slowly out of his shorts as he made eye contact with the man, daring him to offer money for a private show. He stopped at his hip bones, leaving everyone still eager and began wiggling out of his shirt instead.
Sinbad wasn’t a stranger to going out at night by any means, but the establishments he frequented often involved more alcohol and a very difference sort of dancing, one that left him with his hands on someone’s hips while they got more than a bit too intimate on the dance floor. The pounding of the beat from hidden speakers and a light show shining across the crowd while spotlights illuminated the stage, glinting off metal poles and a soft sheen of sweat somehow made for a very different atmosphere than what the man was used to. Or perhaps it was less the music, and more the way the people around him stared almost hungrily at the stage and the figure twisting gracefully around the pole.
This was the reason he returned after that first drunken night - him less drunk than his friends - until he had learned this person’s schedule. It wasn’t to be creepy, of course, of which he’d had to explain to the bouncer very adamantly, it was more he was a fan, because there was no other word to describe it. He loved the way his body moved and how the muscles rippled beneath pale skin, and long red hair flared and fanned out when he twisted around the pole.
Tonight was different though. Before, he watched from a shadowed corner or from the barstool as he nursed whatever drink he’d felt inclined to partake in for the night. But tonight, his usual spots had been taken, leaving him with no choice but to get closer. And while this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, he found himself too close, far too able to see each defined movement and shift in the body on stage, and the way his clothes slipped at the shoulders or the way his eyes narrowed with every teasing glance he cast around.
Sin decided then and there that this man was dangerous, and while that wasn’t in the traditional sense, it still applied. This became even more concrete in his mind when that burning gaze swept the crowd - and came to a stop on him. And he knew, because this wasn’t the type of person you mistake for looking elsewhere, and with eyes like that, it would be hard to anyway. Sinbad slowly quirked his lips up, bottom lip caught between his teeth as his eyelids fell half closed, making an obvious show of looking him over. Swirling his drink in the cup twice, he raised it in cheers to the dancer, inviting him to continue, giving him his full attention - not that he hadn’t already, but now the other knew this.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he thought about the paper that was due the next day.
