1. vangate! obviously! - charles posting an unedited video on his instagram story alerting us all that he and carlos were for some reason driving back to monaco together after the baku gp. the absolute onslaught of posts. carlos recounting the story in full for everyone at williams, and then at a sponsor event. charles getting asked about it multiple times as well of course. so insanely on brand for charles to get too anxious on the plane and want to heed the pilot’s warning/advice meanwhile carlos wants to see the weather radar but agrees to divert anyways and then has to rent a van in the dead of night to get everyone home. it’s not rpf it literally happened and now all of italy knows they are gay. what a day to be alive and on the internet

2. spa pj - seeing the footage of them getting on the plane together was so exciting. and we also had Alex and lando flipping them off on the tarmac, the polaroid photo shoot, my trophy and my boyfriend, and I believe this led to the official confirmation that they travel together most weekends… pre vangate this was such a thrill

3. monza bike interview - charles taking a break from his interview to bike after carlos and go “hello mate” out of breath soooo happy to have gotten to briefly compete w Carlos. carlos is so much better than me 🥰 this was almost immediately eclipsed by vangate which is fair but I would’ve made several meals out of this if there was more time

4. china fanstage interaction - in the post teammate pre vangate universe this was maybe my #1 moment honestly this was incredibly needed and important. carlos w his eyes on charles the whole time waiting to greet him! movements that suggested carlos went in for a tummy pinch! the excitement of wanting another angle and confirmation of what they actually said and then receiving exactly that. mundane chitchat about being sleepy and what time you got up.. yeah actually that’s very meaningful to me

5. f1 movie red carpet shenanigans - carlos grabbing charles by his big suit to tease him a little… this is everything to me actually

6. hugging while biking at the monaco gp - carlos engaging in 2 of his fave activities: cycling and touching charles. what a special moment for him. and for me!

7. post dutch gp carpool - the footage of them in the car together (charles in the back lol) and then them getting on the plane. we already knew at this point that they were traveling together a lot this season but to me the evidence never gets old! also: it was carlos’ bday soooo

8. evil charlos moment of the year: silverstone contact… womp womp! charles felt sooo bad and so did i tbh. but it was sooooo rpfable! yes that’s self promo but it’s from the heart

9. monaco weekend charity football match - carlos was playing (obv) and charles was acting as the visiting prince. and it was a beautiful call for footballer(/wag) aus

10. signing things for fans in montreal - another moment that feels small now but AT THE TIME it was truly major so it makes my list

11. suzuka drivers parade - this makes the list individually bc it was to my memory the first true charlos drivers parade of the year. they had their special corner so they could chat chat chat to their heart’s content!
