40 pages into this book and the author never loses an opportunity to remind us of how tall and big and strong Agrippa is.

Here's what I meant by Vergil's entrance:

And that part where Agrippa thinks Maecenas is in love with Octavian:

but like. Agrippa here says "I know", signaling that he agrees with the thought that Maecenas shares his own reason for helping Octavian. So if he then proceeds to talk like Maecenas loves Octy in a romantic manner, does that not mean he's admitting he is also in love with Octy????

First of all, what happened to Virgil? He's not the kind of guy to go around flaunting his fame (or talking to strangers, for that matter) #notmyvirgil
