Ask Radio MOLLY

You noticed how this had some secret messages and codes and videos and stuff. You noticed the odd changes within the Radio Molly Community. Then one day, the videos went missing, Twitch went missing, and for a moment, Kermit took over the Twitter.

And then the community Discord server was deleted in the middle of the day.

Due to a bunch of people who want to inflict pain on the fans, only seeking a lolcow to make fun of.

Apparently the decision was made without alerting missing cast and mods. I was shocked to find that as well.

That was a very stupid choice for a really stupid reason. You didn’t need to be thrown under the bus for this. We should’ve known better, but we severely had a breakdown in communication. Thanks to this, fans, mods, and cast alike are high on emotion. We don’t blame them.

This wasn’t about not caring for the fans. This wasn’t about fame. We tried to justify this as protection but it served just as much protection as a broken condom from a large farm tractor.

We were wanting to try out a new venture for us to be less MLP-based and more open to everyone no matter what. We’ve been planning this for months.

We then had that incident happened where people were looking for someone to bully. That threw a lot of wrenches into our plans. People panicked, talked for hours, and sadly neglected to inform the other major players of the action to delete the servers. (I never received a text or call and Sharpwing came home to the mess.)

The aim of that action was that we know of several cringe-y people in that server that would be devoured if things escalated and the raid continued.

We wanted to do a video of this. But it would require waiting as people have lives. But keeping the people in the dark is also a bad idea. Dragging it on too long will make us like Channel Awesome right now. People leaving and the damage will be beyond repair.

So here it is. An explanation that cannot wait until someone comes home from work or until the hounds of lolcow hunters ceases to bother us.

I have cleansed my soul with this, regardless of what the others will think.

You can call this whatever you want. Getting this off my chest is all I can do to help alleviate whatever emotion you feel. And I hope you stick around for our new adventure. We promise we won’t leave you hanging again without reason. Without you guys, Radio Molly wouldn’t be a thing and it would be stupid to toss out the people who help us, love us, was there for us, everything.
