Please, please me cautious the next week or so when leaving your house as we are now in a rocky state with angered Trump supporters, wanting to take their loss out on innocent lives. If you can get groceries delivered, do that. If you have an non-poc friend that can buy your groceries and bring them to you, do that. Pick and choose your battles during this time. Because even though we aren’t “allowing racists to be racists” anymore; we still have to know when to pick our battles and when to let certain things slide.

And you potentially losing your life is a battle you should learn to not fight against and do whatever you can to stay safe in a world that hates you the most.
