1. No eating before 10am and past 5pm.
2. Do some sort of a workout everyday (at least 10 minutes of activity).
3. No more than 800 calories a day.
4. Develop a steady sleep schedule.
5. Log every thing you consume. Every single thing.
6. Drink tons of water. Warm water fills you up, cold water helps you feel refreshed.
7. Walk at least 7000 steps a day. Even just walking around in circles during comercial breaks is better than nothing.
8. Learn to say no. Say no to excuses. Procrastination is the worst thing you could do with your life. I know it’s hard, but you can get through it.
9. Feel a binge? Take a bath. Drink water. Do something to occupy time or to calm the hunger pains.
10. Wake up and do your make up. Make yourself feel pretty. Your day will be a little better. I promise.
Whenever I play with my food, I feel less inclined to eat it. Does anyone else experience this?
it all started
the summer of 2013, I was 180lbs, my mom was teaching summer school and my dad has a day job so I got to sleep in for as long as I wanted. one day I slept so long that when I woke up I felt sick from being so hungry, so I didn’t eat all day because I felt so nauseous. I did that for 3 days. 3 days was all it took for me to noticed my jeans fit differently, 3 days was all it took for the number on the scale to go down. at first I didn’t think anything of it, then I realized it was because I hadn’t eaten, I noticed I felt lighter, we went to the pool and I felt better about being in a bathing suit. I learned the less I ate, the better I became. I had no idea it would turn into this. I haven’t looked back since.

I had a piece of chocolate for breakfast (about 70 calories) and I went on a hike with my grandpa after. It was all I had for the morning and for some reason, I just didn’t want lunch or dinner. I just didn’t and it was hella abnormal considering I was a massive 174 pounds. I kept doing that for a week and I felt proud. Shout out to Dove chocolate, you helped me lose a ton of weight lmao

My thigh gap story-
Last summer, I had lost enough weight to actually attain a thigh gap without contorting my body. Honestly, it was so fun because I never had a thigh gap before. No miracle workout, it was just all diet (cause I’m a lazy bitch). Lately, I’ve been losing weight in my arms and back. I’m so close to a full thigh gap and my goal is to have one by this summer. But until then....

What I learned by losing 40+ pounds
• People will notice the weight loss way before you do
• Cardio does wonders
• Occasional binge days are okay!!!
• Family and friends will make comments about your weight loss that will make you uncomfortable
• (if you’re a girl) You lose a lot of weight in your breast and butt region
• Collarbones are great but look and feel sorta freaky sometimes
• People will treat you differently and will generally be nicer to you
• Thigh gaps feel great
• (if you’re a girl) You’ll most probably always have that little pouch on your lower tummy bc your uterus naturally pushes out
• Food becomes numbers
• You’ll be able to see a food and immediately know how many calories are in it
• Safe foods are heaven
• Staying motivated can be really hard
• You’ll gain some weight back after you lose it
• An all-or-nothing mentality can ruin your life
• You’ll feel as if you’re in a competition with everyone around you
• No matter how much you lose, you’ll always feel like you have to lose more
• Body dysmorphia sucks
• You will never see yourself to be as small as others see you
• You’ll lose fat in places you didn’t even know was possible
• Meal planning saves lives
• Thinner arms feel great
• You’ll start to bloat really easily
