I definitely miss BH6, but being away from it made me self-reflect a bit and realize I don't love BH6 as much as I love Hiro. So, without Hiro, I just find it hard to care about this franchise.

I also had the realization I don't love the series as much as I used to. I mean, I still have very fond memories of when the series aired, especially the s1 era still means a lot to me, partly because of the fandom hype. Back then it wasn't just a show, it was an experience.

Don't get me wrong, I still like it and it's not nearly as bad as the haters claim it is, but I wouldn't really call it good either (tbf, that's partly because Disney didn't have faith in it). I realized I just tolerated a lot of the series just to see more of Hiro... who also got done dirty a lot.

The gifset ended up being a lot more grief-oriented than I originally planned, but as I was trying to look for moments to gif... those are just the ones that stood out to me and I decided to roll with it, because at the end of the day that's what BH6 means to me.

I've loved BH6 many years before I lost my mother, but I also think that's why I latched onto it's theme of grief so hard once my mother passed. I already loved this movie, so it already had it's arms open wide to welcome me as a coping mechanism.

I hope my gifset's not too much of a bummer, but grief has always been my fave theme in BH6 and since it's gotten personal 3.5 years ago, I doubt that's gonna change any time soon.

That "being more active this year" plan of mine was actually going pretty well... but then Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss happened, and it's been taking up all my time, energy and attention for the past few months.
