Ok, but listen: what if, The Lucii of the FFXV universe are chosen out of all the previous Kings/Queens based on which weapons are sitting in an active armiger, (Regis, Ardyn and Noctis seemed to have the same ones, just saying) and like, ALL the other past Kings are around somewhere in the whatever/wherever the heck the Lucii hangout and like, after the Kingsglaive movie, Nyx Ulric finds himself in the same place as the Lucii since he received the power directly as the Kings do, he’s technically qualified to be a ‘Lucii’ (even has a pair of kukri/khukuri that count as his royal arms) but the other Lucii, now that they aren’t Judging him, are pretty chill and since he’s wasn’t an actual King during his life, he doesn’t have a proper place in their line up, and they all just start referring to him as 'hundred-thirteen-point-five.’

Wow, that’s something that’s been on my mind recently. Nyx, actually, was worthy of the Ring and received the King’s powers. And, technicallly, he’s now in the Circle of Lucii, together with Regis and others, because even though he didn’t become a King in real life he still received the power and actually became one of Lucii too. Which didn’t happen ever to any person who hadn’t a roal blood in their veins and it’s really something. For me, he was as greatest King as Regis was even without an actual title.
