Demigods who smile because they know if they don’t they’ll cry

Demigods who go into the woods unarmed and have to be dragged out screaming by the wood nymphs

Demigods who become reckless

Demigods who stop giving a shit

Demigods that can’t stare at themselves in the mirror

Demigods who can’t close their eyes because all they see are monsters

Demigods who bottle their emotions

Demigods who become angry and snappish

Demigods who will no longer touch a weapon

Demigods who wish it was them that was ripped apart by monsters

Demigods who get flashbacks

Demigods who are up with weapons ready before they realize that someone had just dropped their plate

Demigods with lifeless eyes

Demigods who have stopped eating

Demigods who rage and scream and cry when they’re alone

Demigods who are at each others throats

Demigods that blame themselves

Demigods who can’t help but think of what ifs

Demigods who try to cheer people up even though they themselves feel terrible

Demigods who no longer want anything to do with any mythical bullshit

Demigods that insist they’re fine even when they are so clearly not
