Tasers and Large Sweaters

"Darcy! Miss Lewis is my grandma," she corrected her with a grin, taking a seat on a stool, "And I think we are about the same age, so it's definitely weird. For me, at least. I don't work for... well, I don't work at all, but even if I did, it would probably not be something that has anything to do with formality." 

  Steve lifted his gaze to find him in the crowd of passengers. The guy stood out like a sore thumb, especially as he seemed to be taking a good look at every woman’s bottom and boobs on the carriage. Something inside Steve riled up and he clenched his fists a little in his lap, shaking his head. “Let me deal with it.” He said, lifting the ballcap that had been hiding his identity. Steve turned to face the stranger again and flashed her a smile as Captain America this time and not just a random guy keeping his head low on a train.

That guy couldn't possibly be from there, because no man would help some random stranger in the train with something like that. "What..." she started, trailing off at the smile on his face, forgetting what she wanted to say. He was handsome, that would have been obvious to just anyone, but there was something else, something familiar about him. "Be... careful?" she tried, doubting he'd get a scratch with those arms. No, really, she had seen him before.

  Steve had been sat quite contently by himself. He leaned forward in his seat, his elbows resting on his legs as he tapped the heels of his feet a little every so often. He was in his own little bubble, for once more paying attention to the world around him. The sudden stranger sat beside him and he was startled out of his trance. His eyes searching hers wildly for a second before the stranger explained. Steve snapped into action rather quickly, a large smile gracing his face, “It’s been a while!” He replied happily to her before his eyes broke away from her gaze and skimmed the train. “Which one?” Steve muttered under his breath.

"The one who can't keep his eyes front even now, with the blue jacket and the pig's attitude," Darcy muttered, annoyed by the fact that she couldn't just tase him. At least the stranger had understood immediately and was being nice about it. "Sorry, usually I take care of this kind of stuff by myself, but if they stop the train because of me the other passengers will want my head... I'd want my head." 

  Pepper started to walk and she looked towards the girl as she spoke. She offered her another smile as she said. “Call me Pepper. I consider you a friend, Darcy.” she gave a little nod of her head before she turned her head and got them access into the labs. “And besides only people that work for me have to call me Miss.Potts..or people I want to be a afraid of me.” a teasing smirk came to her face.

Skye grinned. “Oh god this is going to be so much fun. May doesn’t care, she’ll let me talk at her, but isn’t interested, Fitzsimmons go on about how everything is unlikely and wouldn’t happen and kill the joy, but now you and me can totally fangirl!” She laughed softly, taking a long drink. “Oh god and the only girl on the team, I bet she has them all whipped.” She smiled thinking about it. “Oh Pepper has Tony which is so awesome, but then Natasha, i think I’d have to go with being like Natasha. because who wouldn’t?”

"I love that you say ‘she’ll let me talk at her’, says a lot about her scary side,” Darcy chuckled, then nodded quickly at the idea that the Black Widow would keep them in check. “Makes me think of Lady Sif, have you met her? Thor’s friend? When she showed up on Earth the first time she was all kinds of scary soldier except…” she looked around for a moment as if afraid that the Asgardian would show up and rip her head off, “The first minutes when she found Thor, she was adorable. It was like watching Xena play with puppies. She waved at him like a kid.” 

Skye laughed. “No she really is okay, but yeah never get on her bad side, she has wicked Hatefu skills.” Skye nodded. “Yeah I met her, she is so badass! She came down to recapture this Asgardian named Lorelei. It was just after I had been shot, so I didn’t get to really work wih her. But she was so awesome.” Skye’s eyes widened. “Please tell me you got a video of it?”

"Hatefu?" Darcy repeated with a laugh. "Wait, Lorelei? I don't know a Lorelei... You got shot?" It was funny to have found someone who when excited threw all kinds of informations around like she did. Now there were two people who could give Jane headache. "Nope, sorry, I'm too broke to have a phone like that, mine can only take pictures," she sighed. "You don't understand the pain of having breakfast with Thor or chatting with Fandral and not being able to make a video..." 

"That is so awesome," Darcy shook her head, having the impression that she had managed to confuse her. Jane had told her to try to calm down, not everyone spoke Darcy-language. "Well, whatever help you might need... You are the brain and I'm the brawn," she decided to say, to sum things up. "And if you ever need to know something about Thor and Jane is not around, you an ask me."

"Thank you miss Lewis." Jemma smiled at the other and wondered why she had been sent to bring her the files. She had heard about Darcy from Coulson and immediately understood what he meant - Darcy was different from the rest of them. "You know what to get for dr. Foster?" she asked and gestured to the other for her to follow her further into the lab.

"No idea whatsoever," Darcy answered candidly, "They said to pick up the files about the Asgardian matter you have whenever they are ready and to help you with what you need. As in coffee and stuff like that, I'm the not-genius of the group. I think that son of Coul... I mean, Coulson was just trying to give me something to do because I accused him of stealing my i-pod in front of other people and didn't want a repeat." She was weirdly glad that he wasn't dead - not just because Thor had been particularly sad when he had informed her of the events during the Battle of New York, but because she could tell he was nice. She wasn't sure of how, but she knew he was. "You are a super genius, though, right? With bio-stuff?" 

Darcy had been nervous at the idea of following Jane to SHIELD, especially when they had split up and she had been directed to the labs. She knew how to deal with Jane - give her caffeine in the morning, bring her food, take notes, not allow her to forget to shower or other things necessary to survive, annoy her until she gave up on her laptop when she was exaggerating - but she couldn't imagine what kind of scary scientists that place might have.  No, scratch that, she thought, when a young woman who looked a thousand times friendlier than agent May greeted her. Well, obviously the best way to act when she felt unsure was to just go for it. "Yeah, that's me. I was sent here to give you Jane's files and collect the stuff for her... and basically be out of her way before I annoyed one of the other agents enough to shoot me. Hi."
