all is right in the world. my vibe died literally right after i finished.

i have a friend who left for boot camp about two weeks ago. i haven't been able to write him a letter yet because i don't have his address, so i started writing things down to him in a little notebook i always carry with me because i don't have a great memory. it has now turned into my diary that i write as if i am talking to him in, and there's something so intimate about that. not only does it now feel like i'm just having a conversation with my friend, it's also encouraging me to journal more because i don't want him to miss anything going on in my life. i recommend trying this out, whether it be to a friend, a partner, or even a fictional character. journalling is awesome, and everyone should do it :)
