the boy leaned forward, elbows on knees. he didn’t need to put much thought into a reply, but that didn’t mean his reflex was to offer up a rapid fire response. he wasn’t quick, that wasn’t his schtick. and the only impulses he acted on were one’s that had a long line of thought behind them. “most definitely a company kind of night.” he turned his head towards her, “any ideas on how to celebrate?”
