to read 17776 as somebody who grew up a jehovah's witness is fascinating. there was a time when i truly believed humanity would reach a similar kind of immortality on earth. and i never really thought about it beyond that, especially because i was a kid. we'd talk about what we would do in "the new world," in "paradise," about the animals we'd have as pets, about how good it will be to never get sick or age. nobody really talked about the infinity of it all. there are videos and stuff that they made, about how having an eternity will be great because you get to explore everything you could ever want. nobody thought about the boredom. i never thought about the boredom. it took me almost 7 years of not believing and my partner's fear of eternity to think about the boredom.

i hate being sick bc it makes me lose my appetite. im trying to gain weight so it's so annoyinggg. my only hope is going on T in a couple years bc i've heard the hormone helps with weight/muscle gain (or at least with appetite)
