Every time I see a “Susie felt so inconsiderate this chapter” comment from someone, or someone brining up that specific critique, I always naively assume it’s because of her not really acknowledging how Ralsei was ABSOLUTELY not having a good time whenever Flowery was around, & how she only started really thinking critically of Flowery when he essentially kept Asgore hostage.

Really, I probably wouldn’t have as much of an issue with this if Flowery just didn’t rub me the wrong way throughout the entire chapter. Even after replaying the whole thing, I’m not a big fan of how he’s written, but Toby didn’t make this game exclusively for me & me only to enjoy, so it’s not that big of a deal.

But naw.

Some peeps are criticizing Susie for something even I didn’t pick up on during my first playthrough of the game.

Gang, not only can she NOT read Kris’ thoughts, but ain’t NO WAY she knows how to accurately interpret other people’s actions.

She deadass thought Kris pulling her closer (if the player tries attacking Susie right after getting the Shadow Mantle) was Kris trying to taste the shampoo in her air.

The only reason it rubbed me the wrong way when she was so chill with Flowery at first is because Ralsei MADE his distaste VERY MUCH known. Susie even picked up on that IMMEDIATELY but never asked why despite being SURPRISED someone like Ralsei could hate like that. You’d think that would get her curious.

But with what’s going on with Kris, it’s not being vocalized. It’s not right in her face.
