she is helpless to the whims of her own throat , but with the napkin in hand at least florence can cover the raging attack. once the coughs grow less violent , she tosses the napkin in the trash- bin found beside them , offering gracious smile to the other. there is a pause before she speaks, as if to gather herself,   ❛     ———  thank you , i would’ve been coughing here all day.    ❜ she muses , docile expression now plastered where reddened hues still lay.
