Howdy! I go by primarily Astro(short for Astraeus, but my religious anxiety doesn’t let me actually go by Astraeus :c my self-insert/sona guy’s full name is though) or Wolfe(pronounced ‘wolf’) (also highkey wanna go by Orion but I fear I’m a little too late to change things LMAO…I also go by Dragon on discord if you care) and I use he/it pronouns (they is also alright) :3 This is my only blog(aside from very work in progress rp blogs, the only one active being my silly dispatch oc(@arterra-sdn)) and I post pretty much anything on here, but mostly art and alterhuman stuff. And also whatever shit is on my mind, completely unfiltered because I don’t have a filter built into my brain.

Please read this because it is EXTREMELY important me (a transgender man) and to other trans individuals.
The US Government is currently trying to pass an incredibly dangerous national law for trans youth called HR 2616.
This bill would ban all Federally funded schools from teaching about gender identity or sexual orientation, prevent teachers from using the correct pronouns and names for trans students, remove books with any trans representation in them, and even go as far as to prevent teachers from acknowledging trans identity AT ALL.
Any school that does not follow this will lose all federal funding. This bill would also require teachers to forcibly out trans students to their families, which would be fatal to any trans student with a transphobic Family or just hateful family in general. Trans people are already a group that already has some of the highest rates of being victim to suicide, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
This bill actively makes teachers put those innocent children at such a big risk. This bill has rapidly passed the house this week with support from all 209 republicans, as well as 8 democrats. But, it's still being voted on in the senate, which means there is still time to help stop this.
To help stop this, you can visit 5calls.org (look up 2616 in the search bar), one of the most top issues filed Oppose Attacks on LGBTQ+ Students. Once you put in your general location, it will pull-up contact information for your senator, and give you a script for calling them.
If you are a minor and/or do not feel comfortable doing this, PLEASE repost this on here, or any other platform you are on/can find! This needs to be heard and fought against.

I once said something along the lines of "why does everyone assume that every gnc cis man is an egg" and was harassed for it and sarcastically told that obviously the treatment of cis men should be our biggest concern and that I didn't know anything about egg culture (I do). This whole trend of people fixing Lalato’s DDLC art because the features are “mannish” and “women don’t actually look like this IRL” is honestly telling of what kind of mentality the art community has regarding women. It is so reminiscent of 19th century artists painting over the canvas of Katherine Howard’s and Isabella de’ Medici’s portraits to beautify their faces and make their expressions more agreeable. Isabella’s portrait, specifically, is believed to have been painted over to be “easier to sell”. The belief that women who do not strictly adhere to this synthetic ideal of beauty and femininity need to be “fixed” to become acceptable and palatable for society to consume is frightening.

1. If you can avoid it, never call a business on the first day of the week it's open. Wait until at least 40 minutes after they're open on the second day.
