JACKIE: I think you have told me once or twice but you know how much I love hearing it. I hope you know how much I love you.

JACKIE: I wish I could be spending this relaxing time with you but at the same time I love how hard you work at your job.

JACKIE: It sure does, it especially makes me miss my soon to be husband. I couldn't help but miss you even more when I took a long bath.

JACKIE: I think that is an amazing idea, like all of your other ones. I'll get it all ready for when you get off of work.

ASTON: I don't tell you nearly enough to be quite honest. If it were up to me, I'd spend every second of the day whispering how much I love you against your lips.

ASTON: I love my job but I'm not going to lie, I'm very much looking forward to our honeymoon and vacationing somewhere warm with you where neither one of us have to worry about the stress from our jobs so I can give you my complete focus.

ASTON: I missed my future wife in the bath? I take it back, I hate my job. I should quit right now so I can always be there to kiss your shoulders and the rest of your gorgeous body in the bath.

ASTON: I love when you cook. It's always so adorable and I'm sure Bella Rose is going to really enjoy how much you drop in the process.

JACKIE: My wonderful and amazing fiance

JACKIE: I got off of work earlier than I thought and I was hoping to get some dinner ready for when you're done with work.

JACKIE: Is there anything specific you're craving?

ASTON: My beautiful and incredible fiancee. Have I told you how much I love you today?

ASTON: I can believe that you got off early and I'm still stuck at work instead of enjoying some extra time with you.

ASTON: But I'm so glad you get a chance to relax, I know how hard dance can be on your poor feet.

[ TEXT ]: I can move my schedule after lunch around for you, Ms. Richardson.

[ TEXT ]: I wouldn't say they are useless, Sheriff Hummel tries his best but his hands are often tied because the system is broken.

[ TEXT ]: It's something he and my mother have been trying to rectify for a very long time but sadly bureaucratic moves at a snail's pace.

It means "fuck, marry, kill".

Oh. Okay... That’s awkward but a lot better than what I almost suspected it meant. I swear there are some crazy things out there, especially on Twitter.

I... don’t know what any of that means... I don’t spend enough time on social media to be that uptodate on the lingos.

I honestly can’t tell you, not because I haven’t had any hard days because I’ve had many but sharing details about a case, in any capacity, even if they are closed could get me disbarred. Thankfully not many of them since I came back to Riverdale, though the system here is still stacked against poor people, especially those of color but we’re lucky enough to almost exist in a bubble without a lot of serious crimes, most of my job here has to deal with helping clients accused of petty crimes, drunk and disorderly, vandalism, gang activity, and theft. 

While I was living in Boston... It was a lot harder... I started in the District Attorney’s office there and I saw a lot of horrifying cases come across my desk that we had prosecute, both that I believe were right but a lot that conflicted with my morals and opinions. Especially when it came to immigration cases or cases involving young men of color... It never got easier and it was why I decided I wanted to be the person who fought for those who couldn’t fight for themselves.

After a long week it’s been nice to have a day off. Granted, it’s only until tomorrow, but not having my pager go off in the middle of my day has been a joy I forgot existed. I really hope your days were as relaxing as mine was.

I can’t imagine how stressful being a doctor is. What program are you in? It’s good you got a chance to rest up before you’re back on that grind. Personally, my Sundays are typically the one day I will always refuse to work, I try not to work Saturdays either since that’s time for my family but I get called into the office, especially after hours, more often than not on those days so I always keep Sundays are non-negotiable.

Never a dull moment riding on public transportation in this town. I swear to god, the people here are even weirder than NYC; I never thought that would be possible, but I’ve never had someone come up to me on the subway in NYC and shove a pregnancy test in my face, shouting “IT’S POSITIVE! I’M KEEPING IT AND IT’S YOURS”. Never in my life have I ever thought I’d ever hear those words aimed at me. That was just…fucking disturbing. Wow.

Was that a mental illness thing? Also, I really hope that none of what was on that pregnancy test got on you... I have so many concerns about this thing that happened to you especially because of how unsanitary it is and how close to assault it is...

I swear to Satan, if one more kid at the university tries to make popcorn with a damn lighter, I am going to punch someone. Seriously? Why the hell are freshmen so stupid?! Everyone knows that that doesn’t work, and the fact that school has only been in session for like 3 weeks, and we’ve had 7 of those calls, some at 3am, is absolutely ridiculous.

Come on, people. You got into college. Use your damn common sense! 

I didn’t know that was a thing. They should have just stuck to the tried and true iron cooking or to the old fashion microwave, every dorm should have a microwave. But good thing the young and foolish have you guys looking out for them.

Okay, I have to know. Is the word aromantic a thing? Or is Blaine just completely yanking my chain here. Like, how many of you would say you have crushes and this is something that stresses you out because these people you have a crush on make you feel like you have butterflies.

I feel like I’m not even speaking english here.

I’m not really qualified to offer any perspective on this or anything but I believe it’s something that is akin to asexual but with romantic feelings. Not exactly sure since the spectrum of sexualities and romantic interests have broadened so much recently.

Thank you, Aston. It’s been nice, seeing old friends and all that. Though being gone so long does mean I’m a bit out of the loop… I suppose congratulations are in order?

I still can’t believe you came back, to be quite honest. I imagine it can’t be easy being away from your name in lights and a whole marquee dedicated to you but our humble town is lucky to have you.

Thank you! And don’t worry about being out of the loop about that because we kept a lot of people out of the loop. Honestly, if it were up to me, we would have eloped already without much of a fuss but our families have different plans. Though, I think I might regret it if I don’t get to see Jackie walking towards me in a beautiful wedding gown and giving her the happiest day of our lives.

Well… it started making some weird crackling noises. I gave it to my mom though, and she fixed it up for me. She’s the best, y’know?

Yikes. That sounds awful but it’s good that your mom was able to help. I swear they don’t make phones like they used to. I had a Nokia in high school and I once was pushed into the lake with it in my pocket, where it actually fell out of and I had to fish it from the bottom but somehow it still works to this day.

Already halfway through my third year of residence at the hospital, and you know what I’m looking forward the most? Being able to torture all the first years arriving just now when I’m put in charge of them. It’s the little things that make me happy.

I’ll say a prayer for your unfortunate underlings but at least they’ll be prepared for real emergencies and anything that could be tossed at them once you’re done with them. Have they given you a nickname yet? I feel like they would call you The Captain or The Dictator or is that just something that happens on Grey’s Anatomy?
