To Our Biggest Fan
Dear Ms. Alluringink,
Thank you so much for your constant support of both our blogs. Even though it is a completely unwanted invasion of privacy on your part, we do find it humorous that you insist on watching us so closely. We must commend you on your persistence lurking in the background of our lives. We regrettably write this to inform you, however, that this is the last time you get to see our private, heartfelt posts on these blogs. This will be our last post here, and you will not find our tumblr blogs again.
Furthermore, since you continue to spew your false, baseless accusations about us to our two close, mutual friends, we would like to take this opportunity to make a few things clear to you.
We have NEVER stalked your social media. Frankly, we have no desire to know what is going on; we are not nearly as interested in you as you seem to think. We don’t even know your twitter name! And in case you had magically forgotten, you deleted your tumblr last year and made a new one. So it is mind-boggling that you even think we are somehow stalking your tumblr when we didn’t even have a way to find it. Well, we didn’t know your blog name until you liked our post a few days ago! Thanks again for that! Of course, we do not expect you to believe us; you never did like hearing the truth. But unfortunately for you, YOU are the one that has undeniably been watching us, not the other way around (see proof above). Your paranoia is consuming you and making you irrational. Just because you stalk us, it does not mean that we reciprocate. Hopefully you can recognize this one day and change for the better.
You probably feel entitled to even more of an apology than was already issued to you. Your elementary intimidation and stalking of us further solidifies the fact that any attempt at conversation with you would be a waste of time for both parties. You have made it clear that you are not interested in righting all wrongs; you much rather be the blameless victim. Until you mature and accept responsibility for your actions, there is no chance at a dialogue between us.
You will almost certainly respond to this message, flinging angry rhetoric and inflammatory accusations, but rest assured, we will not be looking for it. We hope to never see it. You will also no longer get any information from our tumblrs. I guess you will have to rely on our twitter pages to fuel your attacks on us. We do sincerely hope, though, that you can stop choosing this pettiness and move on for yourself, as we have.
Maybe one day you will swallow your pride, send a proper text message, and open the door to a real conversation, devoid of insults and sarcasm. Perhaps we can all get some closure on a terrible chapter. Just make sure not to send anymore texts inviting us to your house ;) those certainly will not get a response.
