Can’t take that chance

i’m the kind of friend to turn on post notifications for your instagram so i can always like your pictures and comment in caps lock. i’m the kind of friend to stay up until 3am talking to you and only let you go to sleep when i’m sure you feel better. i’m the kind of touchy feely friend who hugs and kisses you all the time because i want to make sure you know you’re loved. i’m the kind of friend to drop anything to help you and i don’t know if this is where i go wrong. i don’t do it expecting to be praised or anything like that- i do it because that’s how i am, this is how i love. but it hurts so badly not to be the kind of person who sparks this same reaction in people. i try, sososo bad, but still i’m just a really unneeded person. i don’t expect people to drop everything for me because that’s unfair and unrealistic but at the same time, god i wish somebody, anybody, loved me so much they would put me first. just once, i want to be someone’s priority. just once, i want to feel important. to feel loved. just once.
