on the flipside it is objectively funny that one of the liberal party's current approaches is pointing out that the government Broke Their Campaign Promises like. who gives a shit. weaksauce argument and it's honestly a bit depressing that anyone is buying it let alone people who stand to benefit the most from the policies. sorry for talking Real Actual Politics but my god i do feel sometimes that we're never going to get fucking anywhere if this is where the sticking points are. it's not surprising that the simple goddamn idea of "what if we didn't make it so easy to hoard property in this country" got dug into so viciously by the most disingenuous people in the world but it's goddamn embarrassing that so many people are so politically illiterate that we have to have endless thinkpieces about Trusts and Capital Gains instead of simply killing those people. we need to kill those people. there's a type of person in this world it's okay to kill and they're called landlords and politicians

rn there's a bunch of intolerably stupid economic debates over here bc the so-called centre-left government actually did the bare minimum to address the fact that our housing market is Completely Fucked and incentivises people who were already rich twenty years ago when the stupid rules they're getting rid of were first put in place and so many of the debates centre around "what about start-ups?" "what about small business owners?" "what about young people trying to get into the property market?" without considering a very important fact: most people are not those people. and in fact with how goddamn often the government bends over backwards at every possible opportunity to suck the dick of the Humble Small Business Owner i think that actually they should suffer and writhe in the mud and the dirt with the rest of us. what about my dick #whataboutmydickalbo

one thing rewatching 0079 has done is reminded me that in her early eps lalah was kind of a multi-type weirdo rather than just being ethereally weird. like i think if you're writing her it's important to throw in a bit of her watching amuro go sicko mode on zeon's blockade on tv and going "this is really fun and awesome :)". for spice

the idea of watching divinez for a bandori cameo is depressing. could you at least watch the good seasons of vanguard. even if the best cameo they've got is daigo

i've absorbed some pretty fun garbage.

i've reflected on this before but i still think it's kinda funny that i follow multiple people into new era bandori and still don't actually know what those shows are about or like. what differentiates them to such a degree to inspire this level of passion
