to all y'all who got absolutely blindsided this week and are still somehow functional:

A desire for kindness, calmness, safety, empathy, togetherness, and softness. To mend the wounds of others as they tend to mine. To not always be running, or fighting, or trudging. To live… and not always just survive and strive.

I have to go to this place called Girls Inc for a whole week even though I'm 1) trans, and 2) MULTIPLE NONHUMAN CHARACTERS AND A KILLER WHALE

This place is causing me a lot of dysphoria as someone who is Tilikum factkin (yes, I'm the murder orca) as it's land based and girly and they didn't let me give my super awesome presentation on my controversial subject of cetaceans in captivity. They made me do a group how-to presentation which is not fun

They also don't care that I have autism which causes me a lot of communication issues. I hate this place

Holy shit, I'm so sorry you're going throught that :( I understand your pain as a transmasc and autistic...It must feel so bad to be there. Itchy shirts? That's like hell on Earth.

You should tell your parents about how they're treating you there. Try filing a complaint against the staff if they don't care. That's not normal, you should feel comfortable and safe, not afraid and suffering.

And people are so shitty, I'm sorry. You should stick with people that you trust (online or irl). Hey, if that would make you feel better, you can maybe send another ask and talk about that presentation! I would love to read more about that topic (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

I AM MY KINTYPE. That's what non-humanity is about. It's not "a strong connection", it's not only a past life or an aesthetic, it's litterally all/any/some level(s) of your identity. Who you are. What you are. You absolutely can feel human to some extent, and that's OK. But if you don't feel like you ARE your kintype on any level (which disqualifies you from non-humanity), then you are just... human

For the folks curious about templates, these are the shapes I cut from cardboard. I added a couple little pieces of cereal box cardboard as structural support in various points, like the bridge of the nose and behind the beak. Also, I ended up cutting the forehead piece a little smaller, which I marked on the paper, but I kept the template size in case you want to see how it originally looked.
