The first song is the one I'm dancing to atm and the second one gave me the idea to one of my angbang wips so i listen to it everytime i try to work on it >///<

I listened to both of your songs, imagining you dancing (Baladi in C.) - would really love to see you dance! - and wondered what story you're going to tell in your Angbang wip (Hellfire) - would you like to tell more about it 👀👀👀❤️?

As for my own fav song(s) at the moment: i’m afraid i have to cheat a lot here, because there’s just too much very different music and too many different songs that i’m generally and currently into. As far as i can see, older music has been under-represented here so far, so i’d like to mention

Jimi Henrix, The Wind cries Mary

making me think of Mairon alone at night: on a dark strand in Numenor, missing Middle-earth, as well as Mairon running Melkor's realm on his own during Melkor's captivity. (I usually don't listen too much to song texts, it's more the feel of the music, but sometimes a few lines stick.)

When i first encountered that song a long time ago, i imagined a scene from a fic of mine set in ancient Persia - so i also think of your Opus Magnus now!

As well as

Fly me to the Moon, a live version by Diana Krall at the Marciac Jazz Festival (Track 9) with a great guitar solo (i think of a fluffy angbang here, Mel and Mai flying together through the void).

My current favs also include more upbeat contemporary dance music, as well as other more recent songs, but i'm going to shut up for now. One exception: The Lemonade Song by Pink Martini, pointed out to me by @moringottocake.

I’d say my overall favorite song is “In a Week” by Hozier bc I love listening to it and singing it but my favorite song at the moment is “Ritual” by Within Temptation because it makes me think of Sauron^^ (also the album art is amazing)

Tough choice because a lot of my favorite artists recently released music, but I’d say my overall favorite is Dog Bite by The Hubbards

And my current favorite is SIDEWINDER by wishlane.
