Adult Asperger's ASD Journey

Being positive in life isn’t “stupid” or “useless”. We live in a world where there is so much negativity that now it’s become “odd” or “not right” to look on the bright side of things. If you want to be happy, you go ahead and be happy. Let no one stop you because at the end of the day it’s your life so make the most of it! <3

Actually, something that I found extremely helpful that my psychologist did when I saw her yesterday because I have trouble transitioning from one thing/topic to another, was to tell me when we were changing the topic. She would say “This is a transition. We are changing the topic now.” The first time she did that I was a little bit surprised, but it really helped me to know that we were finished talking about one thing, and needed to talk about another. It was such a simple thing, but it helped me a lot.

If schools taught actual life skills, like how a car works, or how to cook, or how to raise a kid, or how love works whether it be friendship or relationship, we’d be living better and thats just facts
