Pantalone after a day of paperwork, dealing with semi-incompetent staff and businessmen still trying to trick him, looking for Dottore–often the original instead of a segment–to recharge with. Clinging to his back and letting him prattle on and on about his most recent project knowing that every word uttered is furtherest it can be from a lie. Thinking the same when eventually that rambling simmers into something softer and more concerned directes his way.

Or Dottore after one too many failed tests, trying to handle a frustration he'd only ever seen in his more emotional segments, heads straight to Pantalone. Uncaring what he's doing or where he is, latching onto him like a parasite and not uttering a word. He doesn't need to. The warmth of a human is so unlike his lab, his segments, his work, that it forces his mind out of spiraling into numbers and diagnostics–instead zeroing in on Pantalone. Who lets him. Knows what Dottore needs and lets him seep that heat away from beside him, until their alone and he can do so in a much more effective way.

To balance out the crazy number of lore enthusiasts and smart people in the dottore fanbase I'll be countering by saying stupider and stupider things as time goes on

Current crack pot theory in my head is that the current harbingers writing is so rushed because they didn't have enough patches/regions to accommodate for their build up. Signora was introduced in Mondstat and died in Inazuma. Scaramouche also in Mondstat and then Sumeru. Dottore appeared right as Scaramouche 'died' and now he's been defeated (?) In Nod-Krai. Their arcs went through so many regions and patches (not acounting for the ones were they weren't involved).

But from there we have two regions left and how many harbingers? Certain exceptions like Childe and the Knave divert from the usual pattern since they side with the traveller at some point. Them aside that's still so many.

The only other fatui character who still fits this timeline is Pierro (minus the early model/character reveal). Sandrone came and went in the same region. Columbina left the fatui so she doesn't even count no more. Capitano ALSO ended his arc in the same region.

There's a big difference in storytelling between the early released harbingers and the more recent ones and I feel insane over the discrepancy..

Dottore - decent enough (?) Unsure about any current, in-game abuse. They talk about him like their watching a nephew their really fond of. Gets turned into robots if they disobey or fail to follow orders tho (webtoon).
