Let's just think a second about it and answer the questions I posited.
Israel was founded as a state for a specific ethnicity, the Jews.
It has never officially annexed Gaza and West Bank specifically because doing so would increase the Palestinian population of Israel. This is also why Israelis, even Liberal ones, find the idea of a one state solution abhorrent, because they'll be a minority.
The "Nation State Bill" declares Israel to be a nation for the Jewish people. Imagine if a country with a significant minority like the US or Australia declared that the nation was meant for White Anglo-Saxon Protestants. Would this be racist?
Palestinians can not get Israeli citizenship even if they can provide proof of having lived in Israel in living memory. People point out countries like Polands "citizenship by decent" law but Poland doesn't only do so for ethnic Poles. A descendant of Jewish or German Polish citizens has the same rights as a descendant of Polish citizens.
On the other hand, Jews with 0 known ancestry in Israel (including converts who have very little ties to the "imagined Jewish people") have the right to move to Israel.
"Arab Israelis" can not pass their citizenship onto their spouse or children if their spouse is from Gaza/West Bank. This has led to Palestinians born in Israel to an Israeli parent and with an Israeli spouse and children being deported. If they were Jewish that would not occur. These are legal discriminations based solely on whether you are Jewish or not.
A Palestinian born in West Bank does not have the right to Israeli citizenship. A Jewish settler in West Bank does have those rights. They live in the same territory, under the same government but the sole difference in their rights is their ethnicity.
This is not even really discussing the occupation of West Bank and the de facto occupation of Gaza but these facts are already far more radical than any other supremacist state on earth. Not Sri Lanka (which gave Indian Tamils citizenship in 2004), not Myanmar, not India, Malaysia or Bhutan. Definitionally, not the pseudo-ethnostates of Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini.
In fact, they're far more radical than groups like the AfD, Reform or National Rally, none of which have suggested limiting citizenship to one specific ethnicity.
I hate keeping the reblogs on on my posts about feminism because TERFs love to hijack them. No, I do not believe in your bioessentialist bullshit. No, I do not think your chromosomes determine what personality you will have and your inherent capacity for evil. I am a man and I am highly critical of men, I think men are misogynistic because they are taught to be by society and I think more and more men are radicalized in feedback loops by their peers in the manosphere and down the alt-right pipeline, I do not think testosterone or their assigned gender at birth is what makes men do harm, I think that is a cop out that removes personal responsibility. It is the same âboys will be boysâ bullshit that got us here. I think trans men are men and I think we are capable of being misogynistic and I think it is important to hold each other accountable.
Your idea of feminism is unproductive, regressive and fundamentally useless. You will try to twist my intersectional feminism to fit within your extremely flawed and dangerous framework and you will fail. Trans women are women, trans men are men. Block me and make your own goddamn twisted versions of my takes if you want but get the hell off my posts.

What are your thoughts on landback in relation to Zionism? I see a lot of them claim Zionism is landback as a âgotchaâ to pro-landback liberals & leftists.
Of course my instinct is to call bullshit, because obviously landback does not entail mass murder ethnic cleansing and genocide, but Iâm also not sure how I feel about the concept of Israelâs Jews having total sovereignty over that land given what they are currently doing to the people who they feel do not deserve that sovereignty.
Itâs disingenuous because Native Americans and other indigenous peoples are not seeking to conquer an already settled land that they may have lived in thousands of years ago before migration patterns and diasporas dispersed them, seeking to replace their culture and sense of personhood and totally annihilate their physical existence so they can extract wealth on top of that land. Native Americans arenât demanding that China and Russia become Turtle Islandia because their ancestors may have lived there many tens of thousands of years ago. That is the claim Israel is making and what they are doing to the pre-existing residents of Palestine. All of that was done TO Native Americans, so to invert the relationship between colonizer and colonized by comparing the colonizedâs claims towards liberation to Zionism, is to be intellectually dishonest to such an extent that it implies active malice.
The colonizers of the Americas are not comparable to the Palestinian people in this dishonest landback criticism because it is the Palestinians who are being dispossessed and the American settlers who were the dispossessers in the American context. By comparing landback to Zionism what youâre essentially saying is that Americas settlers are victims of Native Americans who wish to genocide them, an outright Neo Nazi racist fantasy but somehow spoken in the language of ârevolutionary politics.â
Zionism has co-opted the language of national liberation (seen Zionists explicitly use that phrase) and decolonization but thatâs because national liberation and decolonization rhetoric has primarily been used in this context to support Palestinian claims to self determination and sovereignty over their lands and they want to confuse the debate or undercut their critics, itâs not a genuine embrace of Lenin, Stalin and Mao on the National Question.
If anything that proves the salience of decolonization theories, the enemy, the colonial empires, have to attack the criticism by pretending as if they already embody its traits. This is a common rhetorical tactic the ruling class uses when they are losing a situation. âOh weâve always been against slavery!â saving face mentality when forced into a corner.
Zionism cannot be âdecolonizationâ because it itself is a colonial venture that seeks to replace the pre-existing residents and their culture so wealth can be extracted from the lands. And it confuses things - when the Kingdom of Judea fell the majority of the worldâs Jews already lived outside of it because of prior expulsions and diasporas. So for the majority of the worldâs Jews at that time, the loss of Judea mostly had religious significance and it did not impact their lives much outside of that. But was it the Arabs who conquered Judea and made it a vassal? No that was the Romans whose empire no longer exists.
For something to be decolonized, it must be first colonized. We see popular claims that Arabs colonized Judea but Iâm not in the business of getting into land disputes from 700 AD like get a real job at that point that isnât real and doesnât matter, they certainly werenât âcolonizingâ Jews who continued to live as citizens with better rights and less discrimination and violence than Jews who lived in Europe. There was no colonial relationship there, more the classic relationship of conquering kingdoms who want you to pay taxes to their specific king.

Is Landback liberal? How should communists treat the movement?
No more or less liberal than any given self-proclaimed communist in the U.S. Itâs just a slogan indicating a shift in the Indigenous sovereignty movement to focus on reclaiming power over the land, however thatâs defined, instead of the emphasis on legal recognition from the Self-Determination era. Thereâs plenty of liberal versions of this, but it generally represents a turn away from liberal ideas which see the goal as equal/dual citizenship between the U.S. and U.S.-recognized nations. This is a good thing and itâs opened up a new generation of critiques of the U.S. and the historical specificities of its national state and model of settler-capitalist development. The communists who antagonize against it are typically dogmatists who donât know anything about Indian Law in the U.S. and who think like assimilationist liberals by immediately freaking out when Indigenous peoples start talking about a sense of themselves as distinct and having a distinct historical relationship to their homelands. Bringing the debate back to the relationships with the land as social relationships is good, and it doesnât immediately imply a reversal of the colonial relationship. Itâs typical of a colonialistâs psychology to become anxious over an inversion of the colonial world. Apart from a tiny handful of ressentiment driven people on the internet thatâs generally not what anyone is talking about. Opening up the focus on land is instead one of the most important recent developments to thinking about a communist transformation of social relations and ways of laboring and producing. North American Native socialists like Laura Cornelius Kellogg have been saying this since the early 20th century, and similarly Manuel QuintĂn Lame recognized this and for that reason he and his followers helped lay the basis for the Colombian Communist Party
what is it about things being gender neutral having to also be âmasculineâ. like, why can you wear a suit and tie and call it gender neutral but not a dress cause thatâs feminine. why can you call people dude or guy as a gender neutral term but not girl cause thatâs feminine. short hair is neutral but long hair is feminine. i mean i know why this is fully a rhetorical question but letâs think about that
