the cutest lady walked into the pizza store i work at her name is ellen shes like forty something shes kinda nervous/excited/really tired and she comes in like five minutes before we close and she just got back from a really long trip and she needs something to eat so she orders normally and i say that we actually have some pizzas that are 75% off that are cancellations etc and we need to get rid of them so we walk across the store and i show her what we have we had exactly what she wanted so she took that and then we walk down the line back to the register and then she asks if we have any other discounted pizzas and we do and i go grab one for her and come back and shes apologizing for making me walk back over to the pizzas and back but shes nervous and excited and tired and its fine i dont care. i ring her up and its like ten bucks ish for both pizzas and theyre like big pizzas and she gets super excited and then she asks if we have anothER discounted pizza and we do and i go over again and grab it for her and shes so happy shes getting like enough food to make dinner for a week or two for fifteen bucks and i love her and im so glad she got food she needed the cheap food

i really like helping people in a way that feels like im cheating the system like if i helped at a soup kitchen or something thatd feel nice but i like helping people that im Not Supposed to be helping
