Persian Mun fully intended on coming back, but I’m dealing with the unexpected passing of my dad and I’m still processing everything.

Hey, Mun here! I know you probably didn’t expect to hear from me again, life has been kind of crazy the past year. I thought I could come back sooner than I was really prepared to.

I sold at a convention and was featured in a charity zine, so it’s been a crazy time. I finally got together a set up that would allow me to continue to work on this blog, and that’s when tumblr slapped the content purge deadline.

Here’s the thing. While this blog is 100% SFW, I’ve had numerous posts incorrectly flagged and remain flagged for ages. The possibility of all of my hard work being purged makes it difficult to want to put in the work.

So is this the end?

Nah, as my OC Videl existed long before this blog and will exist long after. What this does mean is a change to formatting and platform. I’ve wanted to do a webcomic for ages and I’ve often described this blog (in it’s more active days) as an interactive character-driven nontraditional webcomic.

I think that the next incarnation of this blog is going to be in the format of a proper webcomic with additional elements like animations and such.

I’ll be honest, it will be a while until I can put together the beginnings of this blog. I start college again in about a month and will be taking full-time hours on top of working full-time. That being said, I have a story to tell that I have become very attached to. It’s going to be told damn it.

I’d recommend following me on Instagram (desolim_art) or Twitter (desolim-art) because that is where I will post when this project goes live. I have no ETA, this is kind of an ambitious project but hopefully this format will make planned updates easier on my part! 

Hi guys! So things have definitely calmed down irl but I'm having to make some decisions about the future.

I've seen a lot of blogs going on hiatus or being abandoned and this makes me really sad to see. I've been yo-yoing on whether to continue this blog (especially since it's one of many AUs with Videl and has no major effect on how I use him in the future).

And the answer to that is yes, but with some changes.

AskZorua is still going to be an ask blog, but I'm going to be a lot more selective with the asks. This doesn't mean I won't answer silly asks or anything like that, just that I have a story to tell and a limited time to do that.

Happy Christmas! Well, it isn’t exactly Christmas yet, but it is still the season of giving and so you shall receive a present!

The gift box feels pretty light and on the box there are labels saying [Warning: Very Fragile!] and [Handle with Care!].

Inside the box is simply just a small slip of paper that says two words on it.

We did it guys! I honestly can’t believe that I’ve stuck to a project this long and while we may not be daily like when this journey first started, I’m so glad that you all have stuck around for the ride!

An entire year. Granted, updates have been sporadic over the past couple of months, but I’d like to think that almost eight months of daily posts make up for the gap?
