Weird question

she kinda seems like neither, she’s too calm and collected to be either of them. her devotion to varrick is kinda similar to pearl’s devotion to rose quartz, but then you’ll have to do varrick = rose quartz, which is… yyyyyeah

Hmm, I see your point, but I guess I was tending towards a Pearl due to the fan theory that there are different ‘models’ of Gems. Multiple versions of the same Gem, with similar roles and personalities, but who are still unique individuals. Pearl in particular is interesting, because in the episode ‘The Return’, Jasper calls her a “lost, defective” Pearl, so many have speculated that the more excitable elements of her personality are considered unusual for her kind. So while I agree Zhu Li doesn’t have much in common with ‘our’ Pearl, she might have something in common with ‘Pearls’ in general, if that makes any sense?

My part for the next collab, this time Avatar themed~ I chose Varrick as he’s my favourite character. You can color it if you want, just show me the result :)

After organizing the bulk of the papers into a pile, she feels a sting between her eyes, and pinches her fingers to the bridge of her nose to soothe the dull ache. The door clicks and her emerald eyes turn upward, noticing Zhu Li’s entrance. She curls a gloved finger towards herself, beckoning her subordinate to the desk.

Bringing a remedy probably would have been a great opportunity to poison the woman, but it was not an opportunity Zhu Li would take. There was too much risk involved. No, it was better to continue forward with her original plans. She bowed when she left the office.
