Harriet: “ Professor, can I ask you something? “

Harriet: “ Well I did think of Voldemort at first, but then I remembered that night on the train, with the dementor. “

Professor Lupin: I’m very impressed, I’d say that what you fear is fear itself. This is very wise. “

* As Remi looks at Harriet and all she can see is James and Lily. She has to clear her throat of the knot that had formed. *

Harriet: Before I fainted, I heard something.

Professor Lupin: “ Ah well, dementors force us to relive our very worst memories. Our pain becomes their power. “

Harriet: “ I think it was my mother the night she was murdered.”

Professor Lupin: “ You know the very first time I saw you, Harriet, I recognized you immediately. They’re your mother Lily’s”

Professor Lupin: “ Not by your scar, by your eyes. ”

* Harriet’s eyes widen as she looks at the professor. *

* A memory suddenly flashes in Remi’s eyes. She has to turn away to collect herself and quickly wipe the tears the memory has created away. *

Professor Lupin: “Not only was she a singularly gifted witch, but an uncommonly kind woman too. She had a way of seeing the beauty in others, even perhaps especially when that person could not see it for themselves. And your father on the other hand ad a rather talent for trouble.”

Proffeser Lupin: “ You’re more like them then you know Harriet.”

Ron woke early that morning, the sun was shyly peeking over the horizon, filling the morning sky with bright yellows and oranges. It was too beautiful to go back to bed, despite his definition of beauty still sound asleep in their bed. 

He’d recently taken on his mothers talents for cooking, now he had a chance to practice, and a willing judge.

Now seemed the perfect time to practice, he thought.

‘Beat the eggs lightly, butter in pan, medium heat. Stir frequently.’ He beamed remembering his mothers advice.

Quietly humming a tune, he cooked the eggs just how Hermione liked them, which just so happened to be exactly how he liked them too.

Quietly he snuck back into the bedroom, the sun was burning brighter by the minute. Planting a soft kiss on Hermione’s forehead and stroking her cheek, she stirred from her sleep. 

(OOC: Oh goodness me this took ages to edit. And I’m not 100% pleased with it, but ehh gotta stop editing at some point.

Student: Sometimes I see a lamp on in the restricted section late at night…

Wormtail: ummmmmm… I did did not tell her… * Tries to avoid eye contact*
