Jay’s friend and fellow drag king Oliver Assets has set up a DropBox archive that anyone can view and anyone can add photos, video and memories to. It’s not got too much in it at the moment, because everyone is having difficulty processing everything with the lack of information and most don’t feel ready to sort through photos and video yet. The archive isn’t going anywhere, however, so save these links and you can go back whenever.

When you upload to the archive, it will show the file name to everyone. This means that you can provide a caption of sorts if you rename your files before uploading them. You can also provide a name to upload them under (you don’t need an account or to log in so can put any name) which means that within each folder they will be organised with all of your submissions together. Once submitted, you cannot edit or delete anything from the archive so make sure you want it public forever.

I understand that a lot of our memories on here of Jay are difficult to share in such a setting. Some gifs can stand alone, but some of the most poignant need the context of the posts they were made for. To tackle this, I’ve created our own archive of sorts, which will be detailed in this post here.

There is a wider archive being collected for @siriussly-serious (which you can read about here) but because of the nature of gif RP and Tumblr, I’ve also created a way for us to share our favourite posts and memories of Jay in one place.

So the idea is that I’ve made a Google Doc which contains links to a number of Jay’s posts. The title of each post has a comment thread attached to it. You can click the title or click the comment thread on the right to add your own comment about that particular post. You can copy in your original tags, write a story about the impact it had on you, or just share how it made you feel. No thought is too big or too small, but do bare in mind that anyone can see this. Also please note that when you comment, it will display the full name of the account you are logged in as. Due to this, if you wish to comment under a different name or anonymously, you can dm me or drop in my ask box.

This Google Doc is a work in progress, but that’s because I need you guys to help me complete it. If Jay’s blog has a tagging system, I don’t understand it so it’s hard to find what I’m looking for. I’ve started going through the blog systematically, but that’s going to take a while so I’m hoping that enough of us can search our own tags for reblogs to find what we want. There’s not many posts on there at the moment, so if you have one you want added, please send me the link and I’ll put it in.
