It was only suppossed to be a light rain when Cas and Sam left for the store. When it arrived, however, that proved to be wrong. The storm was thunderously loud, and Kian was hiding under a blanket with Mathieu, with Khoshekh by their side.

"When's the thunderstorm gonna stop, Daddy?"

"I don't know, I hope soon." Mathieu hushed in responce to Kian's question.

Khoshekh checked his phone for any sign of Cas, for any message from him or Sam. He wasn't in the best of moods... His jacket got caught on thorns and ripped, his friend didn't show up to their meeting place, so he was left in the chilly rain, Sam was giving him shit that day (damn teenagers), and now this. A big strike of lightning struck less than a mile away, and all the lights went out. A cry from the child, and a small gasp of surprise from the other parent.

"Fucking great, now the electricity is out. What else could go wrong today?"

A look of "Watch your language" from Mathieu.

Khoshekh felt his phone buzz, and took a look.

"Catticus, Sam and I made it to the store. Power just went out. It looks like the storm won't lighten up for another hour or so. Stay safe, all of you."
