"Are you sure this is legal?â
"âŚWhen did you get here?"
It probably did look like there was some shady business going on. Crates full Tharjaâs questionable materials. For hexes and the like. All of which, was within her custody. The dark mage claimed that the ingredients were fresh and the smell was in Sullyâs mind. Yet the stench seemed to be getting worse over time which the cavalier felt it was high time to make a stand.
Several small trips took place to and from the basin. Despite best efforts, her endurance was already wearing thin along with her patience. So Silverâs presence wasnât welcomed with the usual friendliness.
"Probably not, but it doesnât really matter. I canât handle it any longer. The tent stinks. I stink and every damn thing that I touch is beginning to stink." Sully huffed, a myriad of dried lizards and insects rolled helplessly to the floor as she dropped the crate. "This is one hell of a nuisance, thought about tossinâ them into the river. But I thought Iâd do one better and give âem a bit of a wash."
Crouching down and gathering the escaping materials back into the box.
"If I were you, Iâd be careful where you step. Some of the spiders from earlier kind of grew in size when I splashed them earlier."
"Sure thing. Iâll go. Better being in silence than listening to a two- thousand year old tactician relive her glory days. You probably think Iâm a massive liar. Like everyone else in this camp."
Silver exited the tent and started down the mess hall, heaving a sigh and rubbing her temples.
âWell, that didnât go well.â
Silver blinked and looked around the camp, then back at the mess hall across the way.
'Of course it didn't go well, idiot. Chiki's this camp's only real source of good storytelling. You're nothing to them. You don't even exist. You were never recorded in the books.'
She grasped the mess tentâs entrance flap, exposing the air around her to brilliant, thick plumes of steam and the smell of porridge from inside before entering.
'I wonder if Marth has to deal with this kind of stuff when he's out of his card. ⌠Nah.'
She shook her head.
'He's 'The Hero-King'. The cream of the crop. Everyone probably kisses his feet as he gâ no. They think he's an Einherjar. Just⌠like⌠me.'
"You do that."
There she went as the last comment Silver had said still hung within the air. As of late, it had been a little hard to communicate with her. There were so many references of old that Sully only could get a gist of what she was referring to. However today just wasnât a good day to test her memory.
If there were a reason to pursue the knight, she would have taken it. But for now, the cavalier desired space and if the other wasnât going to help her. Then she wouldâve wanted her out anyway.
An hour passed and the materials were already cleaned without the foul odor wafting through the air. Sully hoisted a few boxes within her arms, trudging out into the snowy campsite. After a few minutes, her legs buckled beneath the sheer weight. There was only so much time left between getting the ingredients back and Tharja returning from her trip to Plegia.
It took a bit of effort as well as a lot of dragging. But eventually, everything was back to its natural state. The scent of porridge was enough to give her strength to guide the weary soul into the mess hall. Grabbing a bowl, it was then she had noticed Silver. Whether or not the other had any resignation, Sully took a seat opposite
"Thought you were giving Percy a brush down?" She muttered, stirring the paste slowly.
