Okay so… It looks like I’ll be taking a break from ponies/updates for a while…! and not because I’ll be away on vacation starting the first

In the meantime, I just wanna’ let you folks know that I’ve started up an art blog! I had been considering just converting this one into that, but… nah. Seemed like a shitty idea.

Start of Battle: What your character does at the beginning of a fight.

Fighting Style: Rough description of how your character fights.

Soft Step’s Fighting Moves Start of Battle: Step trots on screen happily, then hops back, surprised by the opponent. He then moves into his fighting stance before the fight begins.

Fighting Style: Step is a mid- to close-range melee fighter. His fighting style focuses mainly on swift attacks coupled with strong blocks and counters. He is sturdy, strong, and agile, but rather lacking in ranged combat and specials.

Taunt: Step stands on his hind legs and playfully raises his other four hooves "fisticuffs" style, then returns to his idle stance.

Forward Throw: Forward grab is mid- to close-range. Step stands on his hind legs and reaches out to grab his opponent. He then spins them around and tosses them forward.

Backward Throw: Step grabs the opponent and pulls them close, rolling backwards and finally kicking them up and back.

Special Moves:

Ally Oop! Step side-steps the opponent and bucks them from behind.

Same to you! Step blocks and then counters the opponent's attack. Only blocks if ranged attack. Counter delivers equivalent amount of damage absorbed by the block.

An Apple a Day Step pulls out an apple to munch on and recovers a bit of health (1/6th max). Three (3) apples per match.

Special Delivery Step picks up a couple of rocks and bucks them towards the opponent.

Super Moves:

Adrenaline Passive effect. Special moves are more effective as health lowers.

Sudden Barrage Step springs toward the opponent (mid-range) and punches them to the side of the screen. He catches up and then lets loose a flurry of swift kicks with his fore- and mid-legs before delivering a final uppercut. Attack is nullified if it misses. Barrage may be partially blocked if timed correctly. Uppercut cannot be avoided.
