As we celebrate the launch of a new Pokemon game, I'd like to take a moment before we all dive in to honour the fallen. Because yes, some of us here have indeed gone to the world beyond this one, in the time I've been in the community.

Today, I learnt that one of us, @blueespeon, has passed away.

I thank @inja-eevee for letting us all know.

While I did not know the mod well, I knew them to be a wonderful writer, and someone who participated in the community with great enthusiasm. They were always kind and generous, and a wonderful person.

I sincerely hope that their friends and family are doing okay in this time, and I hope that they know that Bader was greatly appreciated in this small corner of the internet.

And thus, we close the book.

This blog was started in October, 2016, though the idea for it came in 2015. It feels so much longer than that when it began. So, so much has happened with my offline life and my online one, I suppose, that has made it feel like truly eons.

I have been sustained, supported, loved, helped, and shown such wonderful kindness throughout my time on this blog and my others. It truly feels strange to end this one, even if I had planned this out from so long ago. It truly feels like an end of an era, this time.

And, in a way, this is the end for me.

While you will continue to see me on @askthehoenngods , @savelarchives (this one is new!), @asksilvan and @omniandco, this is the end for big stories for me. I've told three, now, and I don't foresee me telling another one. It's a lot of time, energy and work to make something like this, so it's time for me to officially retire, and go enjoy a much more light hearted and short story this time. I'm actually really looking forward to it! So I hope you'll join me on Hoenn Gods (if you haven't yet) as that is where I will be most active now. ;v;

I thank each and every one of you who is reading this today for everything you've ever done for me and for my work. Though the good times, the bad times, the normal times, and the end times.

I wish each and every one of you out there making a blog like this success. I hope that you, too, can one day reach your story's end.

From this post where I described possible endings, I mentioned Farrow would've evolved into an Umbreon, and Dravol would've become a Sylveon.

Farrow, while uncomfortable at first and having a lot more emphasis on their self worth and body discomfort, eventually would become okay with their new evolution. The concept of them evolving into what was then an unknown evolution honestly would've never crossed their mind before they actually did do it, so becoming an Umbreon would've eventually have made some degree of sense.

Dravol, reincarnated, would not remember her past self as a Delcatty, however there would be some signs. While her life would've started as an eevee, and eventually coming to form love with her new parents, who did indeed love her this time round, there would always be something she'd feel was off in her evolution. A yearning never to be fulfilled. It'd leave her time, when alone, in a continual feeling of melancholy.

What is missing? What is wrong with me?

I don't mind answering now. ^^

First change would've been how Levas and Savel first met. Had the viewers not pushed Levas in the right direction to find Savel, both of them would've been far closer to corruption when they met, which would've led to Farrow evolving into an Umbreon rather than a Falcheon. They would've done so to try and help Savel fight corruption by being a dark element, but it would've been to no avail because it just doesn't work like that. They didn't know any better. This would've led down a path of Farrow having some confliction about their evolution, adding more to their issues regarding body image and self worth.

Second change would've been regarding Lucky. Originally, Lucky's punishment was going to be far harsher by Mingle, because as far as Mingle was concerned, what he had done was by and large evil, and when he died, he would've come back, but without his memory. He would've spent years not knowing who Farrow and co all were, and much much longer to regain some of his lost memories.

Third change involved Laivan not being found at all, and therefore Dravol would've been fully corrupted, and remained that way all the way to the end, where she would've been forced to the Incarnate Temple rather than going of her own will. Laivan would've been a dratini still (and Dravol a skitty), and the two would've never reconnected like they did. Both would've died not knowing or remembering who each other was, Dravol from corruption and Laivan from being out of water too long. In this end, also, Antono and Notra did not meet Savel and co until this point either, leading both to not really have much interest and being a lot colder towards everyone. They were there to do a job and that was all it was to them, rather than forming bonds.

Fourth change was Dravol would've died and not been reincarnated either. Eventually she would've returned as a Sylveon, and she and Laivan would've found one another eventually, had they survived the Incarnate journey, but it would've taken much, much longer.

How the audience changed the direction was as follows:

Askers pointed Levas in the right direction, leading him to Savel in time to release the blue light and start to balance one another out.

Lucky was pushed to go to Sinnoh because of this change, and forced to confront his past. Askers helped him further deepen his understanding of his wrongdoings, and also helped him learn to forgive himself and repent for his sins, leading to his fellow beholders also leading to a peace agreement, and lending their strength to him in the big battle.

Askers called out to Laivan, leading him to be 'found' by the audience early, even if you had no idea who or what he was. This in turn pushed Laivan to reveal himself once, singing a warning to all, which in turn stirred Notra and Antono into action, calling them to the right location to find Savel and co.

Askers started helping Dravol in the ask hints, leading Laivan to allow Dravol to be questioned, leading her down the right path to eventually prove herself to everyone that she was capable of change. This led Mingle to revealing herself to askers despite being VERY annoyed about it, but it also strengthened her resolve to use Dravol as a candidate of her God's Exam, which brought her back not only as a dragon (something neither Mingle nor the viewers would've ever known as she wouldn't have been askable) but with her full memories intact.

the story had long concluded by the time I stumbled onto it, but that just meant I got to binge the whole thing lol.

ask Savel was different though, cuz iv been watching this bad bitch (/positive) since it's started. While iv never sent an ask (never knew what to say lol), I have been following and enjoying the story since the start. each and every update left me craving more, wondering to see where the story would lead- what secrets would be revealed and what meant what and like- who the other incarnates were, what they were like, all of it :O! I remember spending a LOOOONG ass time brainstorming on what pokemon Dravol and Laivan were when we first got their silhouettes lol.

THE WAY YOU'VE INCORPERATED MUSIC INTO THE PLOT AS WELL IS MMMMMMMMMM

like- I love music- and I just love how it's been mixed into the narrative!!! The concept of like- music/song having power connected to it is a concept iv been FASSINATED by since all the way back in the beginning when lil baby Saval sang for the first time. I just- I dunno I love it!! lol

ANOTHER THING I ADORE IS LIKE- THE WHOLE THING WITH BALANCE BETWEEN NEGITIVE AND POSITIVE EMOTIONS

it may sound dramatic but in a way, this story has genuinely changed/helped shape how I view the world, my relationships with others and how I see my own emotions and feelings. Toxic positivity is very much a real thing and it's something that's affected me greatly in negative ways, and while im out of those situations- this blog's story has helped me realize a lot about them. Negative emotions are just as important as positive ones, it isn't about light or dark- but balance. And your stories have helped me along the way to realizing that

also, its just been- fun! its been a wild ride and iv enjoyed every minute of it! so thank you, thank you for sharing your art with the world and thank you for the joy you've brought!

I'm so happy that my blog and my story has made an impact on your life in such a monumental way. ;v; The journeys told here had mirrored much of my experience and discoveries through life, and trying to tell it in the best possible way that's straightforward and cohesive.

Hmmm... I think there's always going to be parts that I could've written a bit better, or played out a bit more. I wish I could've included a bit more with Vali and Nivatri, for example, and developed them a bit more than I did. At the time of that arc, I was under a considerable amount of stress and simply didn't have enough mojo to do it justice.

I also think I should've fleshed out Kyurem's character before his first appearance a bit more, but his appearance later was a bit of a spontaneous decision, so ah well.

The major blog events were mostly set in stone with a few small alterations. I think everything at least aesthetically, I managed to pull off the way I envisioned from the start. Some parts differ, but I'm of the opinion that art won't ever turn out exactly like what's in a person's mind.

Dravol looks so good!! Also she's just been bumped higher on my list of your favorite characters (though to be fair to everyone that just got bumped down in turn, I might be just a little bit biased).

I had Dravol's new form picked out for a few years, though I did change it from the 2018 draft, which ironically had her as a Sylveon, the complete opposite ahaha. The story had some rapid changes as a result of various factors. So yes, hehe, I did notice that lil factoid for your blog. (BTW, I love your blog ovo)
