Ask Recluse and Sage Fae

If you'd like the opportunity to see your OC as one of Fount's followers (or even the dreaded council-!) Please either reblog/qrt this post with your OC ref or reply with their ref below. Note that, IF YOU'D LIKE, you can make your own design for what they'd look like in this AU or leave it up to me and see what happens! You can use the hastag #fountfollowersOC if you want a naming convention.

There are no set "rules" for how they should look, just suggestions. If you just want to drop your OC and run, that's fine too. Note that they will, however, most likely be wearing the "Knowledge Seeker" mask you see Winterberry sporting in the post. For reference on the types of Fae there might be, see the graphic below:

Optera fae are typically based on flying insects, Avian are based on birds, and dragons are...well dragons. NOTE that dragon fae would be VERY rare as they're often shunned, especially in Fount's part of the world.

PLEASE NOTE that I may not draw every OC that gets suggested here or they may appear only briefly in the bg. Please don't take offense to this as I'm just pulling at random. Also they don't HAVE to be strictly "cookie"-based-they can be any OC you'd like, but it makes it a bit easier when naming or in the context of the blog.

SAGE DID NOT ABANDON HIS FAMILY- He left without telling them to keep them safe and, whether that was the right thing to do or not is up for debate-but this particular thing he's trying to do they really have no way they can help with. It's between him, his followers, and the council of elders that held him captive for centuries. He feels he needs to prove to them himself that the "truth" he reveals isn't what they need to obsess over and that their actions towards him all that time were wrong. He has NO intentions of leaving them and hopes to return to live a happier life without fear of being pursued or any future family being taken and treated the same way he was. In blog timeline this is gonna be like a week, tops.

RECLUSE IS UPSET BUT NOT MAD- Recluse loves Sage very deeply. While he is upset that Sage left without telling him, he respects this decision and his "rage" is really just frustration at himself for not having been there for him earlier to persuade him to allow Recluse to go too. Ultimately he sees Sage's point and he will definitely have some choice words upon Sage's return, but his list is just a silly thing nothing serious at all. He just wants him to come home safe.

SAGE WILL BE FINE- Nothing is going to happen to him (well nothing bad at least). This is a fluffy lovely AU where they will live happily ever after. This is just a final loose end I'm tying up in the overarching story of the blog that I thought would be fun to explore. ALSO Apple Faerie and Star Moonstone will be there to help him-so it's like a little Journey of self acceptance and discovery and then we're back to normal. (p.s. the reason you can't see his normal features is because he's in his Fount form and also he's wearing a cloak to hide his features when he arrives to move in secret. )

ADOPTIONS/FUTURE BABIES- Aster is a given and will happen on the blog eventually. For now we're focusing on this particular arc, but very observant readers may have picked up particular hints or clues as to WHEN this will be happening. Asks about them right now will be ignored until later (sorry I ran the joke into the ground with Pom-pom. She just wants to be a big sister lol)

Hopefully that helps clears things up. Sorry to make you all worry but know this is just going to be, above all, a silly little romp with some hopeful OC and character interactions! Stay tuned~
