  David became an orphan when he was a child, his family got caught in a car crash leaving him the only survivor with no memory. His older brother who was dying after that, gave his scarf to David as a momento, despite him losing his memories. He kept the scarf as a momento but he doesn’t seem to want to remember his past. David was then sent to the orphanage and lived there. He was cheerful despite not remembering anything but his name. One day, a couple adopted him and Elwynn when he was 5 years old and Elwynn 6 years old, ever since then they became brothers.

First, it was a very happy family, but one day, when David was 14 years old, their family’s company went bankrupt. Due to that, their father got stressed and started drinking, he often went home late and drunk. Half a year has passed, they finally ran out of money to buy foods and needs. So the two brothers stopped going to school and decided to steal things since their adoptive parents are jobless and unable to earn money. And soon it become their habit.
