Hi! Sorry to bother you, but I have a weird question. I'm writing a comic series, and one of the characters has neopagan-like practices. However, the story is set in another world where Earth religions wouldn't exist. Would it be disrespectful to create a fictional counterpart to paganism so that it fits the story? I don't want to appropriate the culture or anything. The last thing I want to do is offend people. That's why I'm asking first.

I always feel vibrations in my hands, and therefore I find it really difficult to read tarot. What should I do??

So a friend of mine is dealing with a haunting. Like major activity complete with drawers being opened and chair stacking. Hi! I'm interested in polytheism, but based on a lot of the myths, as well as some of the stories I've heard from other polytheists, it seems like the gods don't always respect people's boundaries or take no for an answer. I have VERY bad anxiety, and the idea of involving myself with a being who will actively punish or coerce me if I don't do what they want is of great concern. Any advice?

New pagan here. How can you be sure that you're connecting with the REAL [insert god's name here] instead of some other spirit that might be trying to imitate them? Especially when you're dealing with a god we don't know much about, like some of the Celtic/Gaulish ones.
