Mm Hmm Hmm~

Anyone who knew Shelly would know that Halloween was far and away the koopa’s favorite holiday. Elaborate costumes called for elaborate cosmetics, which allowed the stylist to really flex her skills on clients who came to her for help making their ideas come to life. And, of course, there was trying out the wildest costume ideas on herself, often pushing her outside her usual comfort zones, but with amazing results. Yes, it went without saying that Halloween was Shelly’s favorite time of year, and as it turned out, there was only one thing that made it even better:

Spending Halloween with a girlfriend.

Having Ms. Mowz at her side only inspired Shelly even more as the spookiest time of year rolled around, leading to many enthusiastic discussions over what couples costumes they just had to try. Last year, they had to get prepared in separate rooms just to keep the two lovebirds from spending more time flirting than getting ready, but this time, Shelly had another plan. When Mowz came over to the salon that afternoon, she was surprised to find Shelly, already in full costume, greeting her. She had gotten ready early, for the express purpose of personally being the one to give her girlfriend her Halloween makeover. She was the best at this, after all, and Mowzie deserved nothing but the best!

… Well, that, and so she could shamelessly flirt with her the whole time while getting her ready. That too.

Which brings us to now, as Shelly did one final pass across Mowz’s scalp with her clippers. Sure, she was already using no guard on the clippers, assuring that only the shortest pelt of magenta hair was being left behind, but… Mowzie really did seem to love the feeling of being buzzed, and Shelly was more than happy to indulge her a little longer. Once she was done, she set the clippers aside and massaged her girlfriend’s head with her fingers - no practical purpose for it, really, she just loved feeling that super-short fuzz on her girlfriend. Shameless flirting finished, she helped Mowz out of the salon chair and pulled her over to the mirror, allowing the couple to check out their completed costumes side-by-side for the first time.

“So, what do you think… Agent 8?”

Ms. Mowz couldn’t help but giggle as Shelly ran her hands through her freshly cut and dyed hair. She wouldn’t have minded staying like this longer, but they had better plans! 

“I! Love! It!!! I might just have to keep it like this!!” She exclaimed as she turned around to give Shelly a small kiss. “Cmon, _Three_ let’s get going!!” 

Nope, not even a demon could ruin their night!
