Despite the best efforts of King Thorax, many of these unreformed bands threaten Equestria. In order to contain them and prevent them from causing trouble, the Princesses have order the Royal Army to occupy the Badlands and maintain the peace.

The color guard of the 24th Regiment of Hoof defend the flag after an ambush annihilates 2/3 of the force and surrounds the remainder.

Questions keep the troops morale up and distracts them from the monotony of camp life. So ask away and remind them that Equestria cares about them!
