SHE IS THE SUNSHINE.

heartbreak was not an easy thing to live with,   while his had been different:   in the form of his father,    the form of before him and ximena were even a thing back when their friendship teetered on the edge of being non-existent.   he’d experienced what she’d gone through too but not with someone who he’d considered    ‘  the one ‘      to him seventeen was awfully young,   ( even for him ) to know who she was with was,     it’s not his place to question her feelings but merely to support where he could,   to parent   &  guide her in ways neither of his fathers could do apparently.   but he wouldn’t give her the speech about maybe forgive her ex,   nor would he give her there’s  other fish in the sea,  because really neither of them were the option he’d want to hear.   discovering it with her hurt,   not stopping her when she thought she had been sneaky but had something happened right there with her until the end;   that was his babygirl and while he’d wanted to just simply keep her home,   an overprotective way he knew he wouldn’t—-  couldn’t hinder her growth in any capacity.

so it’s lead him to leave her be,   ask about her day but for the most part let her give with it a self discovery.  socked-feet are resting upon the coffee table,  one leg bent at the knee so one of his arms could rest there holding the glass of whiskey within that grasp when zuri made her presence known            ❝     hey sweetie.    ❞               he said,  moving his hand to rest upon hers.   her question brings upon a new reaction.

arm lifts up and around her shoulders            ❝     well….  I didn’t actually… at first…. we were friends,  really good friends.   ❞               a small laughs            ❝     heh.  I thought she was out of my league,  and one day it just happened.  well no,  it didn’t just happen.  when she lost her mom,  one of your grandmothers,   she had a really hard time and since I lost my mom too.  it was easier to have that connection.  then we spent a lot of time together and one day we kissed,  started dating.    ❞               he braves the next words            ❝     is this about khera?    ❞    

             she  was  handling  the  heartbreak  most  likely  like  any  other  teenager  girl   ,   sneaking  out  to  parties     &     reminiscing   on   the  past  memories  of  their  ex   ,   which  she  never  thought  she’d  be  doing.   never  thinking  of  any  negative  outcome  of  their  relationship  when  the  young  winchester  should’ve  somewhere  deep  in  her  mind.   the  worst  part  of  getting  over  khera  was  seeing  her  at  school   ,   looking  UNBOTHERED  as  if  she  didn’t  mean  shit  to  her  after  how  many  years  of  them  being  a  couple   ;    zuri  has  to  put  on  a  fake  smile  everyday  just  to  get  through  the  day      &     home  is  where  the  door  gets  locked  behind  her  ,   able  to  be  miserable  all  she  wants.   the  anger  built  up  in  her  heart  manages  but  she’s  a  ticking  bomb  ready  to  blow  at  any  moment.

          zuri  felt  like  she  hasn’t  been  open  lately  ,  especially  with  her  father   (   someone  she  considered  her  best  -  friend    )   so  taking  the  opportunity  on  the  couch  was  a  must  maybe  in  hopes  to  get  some  advice   ---   she  needed  an  ease.  her  petite  body  curls  up  in  dean’s  side  while  listening  to  him  talk  about  his  relationship  with  her  mother     &     it  was  honestly  SOOTHING  to  the  seventeen  year  old.   

                            father    &    mother’s  day  is  important  to  the  female  whenever  it  came  around  every  year  because  it  was  her  time  to  thank  her  parents  for  everything  they’ve  ever  done  for  her  -  along  with  APPRECIATING  THEM  by  spending  the  entire  holiday  with  each.  memories  circled  her  brain  to  every  moment  zuri  shared  with  dean  during  the  past  seventeen  years  of  her  life  time  especially  the  big  moment  when  she  shared  her  sexuality.  the  winchester  may  have  looked  like  her  mother  but  she  was  everything  like  her  father     &    it  was  something  she  wouldn’t  trade  for  the  world.  dean  was  her  best  friend  ,   the  man  who  would  have  his  baby girl’s  heart  FOREVER.  

       sly  smile  appeared  on  her  features  before  sitting  on  the  sofa  with  head  resting  on  dean’s  shoulder ,  hazel  eyes  looking  at  the  tv  screen  as  her  thoughts  wandered  off  for  just  a  quick  second   ;   the  love  her  parents  had  for  one  another  was  one  you  would  see  in  fairy tales    &    it’s  something  she  had  ,  or  AT  LEAST  she  thought.  it  made  questions  circle  in  her  mind.   ‘   how  did  you  know  mama  was  the  ONE  ,  dad   ?   ’   zuri  spoke  as  she  avoided  eye  contact.  she’s  never  heard  their  love  story    &    she  was  interested  to  learn  about  it  ,  maybe  the  young  female  was  wondering  what  she  did  so  wrong  to  deserve  what  happened  in  her  previous  relationship.

head falls back, hair brushing between her shoulderblades.  fingers wrap round the table beneath her.  her hips jerk forward at the softness of her lips.  a soft moan escaped her as she closed her eyes. “ shit , zuri , you know how fucking much i love your mouth. ” one hand lifts to brush through her curly hair.  the woman she loved was the most gorgeous person she could’ve ever asked for in her life. “ i’ll return the favor,  i promise. ”

fingertips walk along her hips.  “ you don’t think teachers are gonna notice if we’re both missing from class ? ” lips part, marking a bruise into her neck. “ we’re gonna have to be quick , babe. think you can do that for me?”  she’s pulling her hands back to undo the buttons of her shirt, shrugging out of it and facing her in just her bra.
