Oh boy, I’m sorry if this seems long. 

To me, the Entity is an eldritch being beyond mortal comprehension. Not to the point that we would go mad upon viewing it, but we cannot fully comprehend even its physical form. Our minds fill in what we can’t understand, leading to the spider or branch like form. That isn’t its true form, but its the closest thing our minds can actually comprehend. 

Its been around for a very, v e r y  long time, and even it can’t recall the exact point in time it came into being. It feeds off of strong emotions that could be counted as negative. Fear, lust, anger, rage, to name a few. Hence why its created this... game of sort. Killers vs survivors. This gives it both, for lack of a better term, a meal and a show. 

It allows the two groups to meet within the fog, sometimes out of the Trials. After all, betrayal, fear of discovery, or even lust? They simply feed it more. It’s a cycle of existence. As its power grows, so does its form, forcing it to feed more, and so on and so forth. It’s a never-ending cycle- one that has been going on far longer than the existence of us humans. 

The felines are getting out of hand and D-9341 needs help distracting them so he can get some sleep. Help him?
