Can you still see me? Am I still visible? Darkness only grows deeper as my shadow grows more pronounced- Can you feel me? Keep breathing, don't stop. Walk with me. Stay with me. Stop... Is it okay to smile? I'm drifting past the people who love me. I've lost my oar. But I found yours- Can I borrow it for a few? I found you shipwrecked, I found you abandoned. I adopted you- I only want to show you the light. Let me walk in your shadow. When you fall the darkness will solidify and support you- Can I hold you? Your warmth and happiness makes me wish of what I never had. Let me lie to you and hope you can hear the real me. You touch me and, oh, you feel so nice. I only wish I had skin too. But I've left my shell behind, the former me. Yet, you help me find a more suitable color. Something not just black and white. I like gray, but you say NO and draw me with so many colors. I am enraptured, I am overwhelmed. You are happy. I am crying- I can't stop. When I wipe the tears, I smudge, the darkness starts to fade. You tell me i'm beautiful imperfect.
