Hello darling! Iām doing better each day. Iām still struggling, but it takes time to get closure from a loss so close like this. I still miss Leora... I talk to them in my truck when Iām working alone, I listen to the music they sent me, think about art I was going to draw for them. Some nights I think āIām so excited to call with my friends tonight, I miss Leora!ā And forget they arenāt here anymore. Itās just a process of acceptance.

While you are right, I am working on myself, Iām respecting Jimmyās boundaries, and Iāve accepted that Jimmy wonāt ever be mine. Iām not a threat. Please understand that this isnāt about Jimmy anymoreā¦ itās about having a relationship with my kidā¦ If the kid is mine, that is. If it isnāt, Iām gone. Iā¦ wonāt be a problem ever again. I went home today. My wife left the houseā¦ itās been an empty shell for the last couple months. She left everythingā¦ so I went through some of our old stuff to find some of the baby stuff we set in the attic. Thereās a lot of good stuff in hereā¦ stuff Jimmy could probably use.
Iām gonna ask if heād like any of it.
I just got home. The talk with Jimmy went well once he put his phone down. I feel really bad cutting out his husband from this conversation, but it was the only way to get anything good out.
I started out with a thorough apology. It was wrong what I didā¦ I was messed up during rehab and I created a lot of unwarranted drama in his life. I shouldnāt have broken into his apartmentā¦ and I apologized for going crazy and getting possessive after we had sexā¦ once. I was pathetic, broken, and had lost everything, and I put that all on Jimmy. He didnāt deserve any of it, especially since he was dealing with his own shit.
Once that was all said and we talked a little about that, we decided some ground rules for the baby. When he gives birthā¦ if they turn out to be mine, heās going to allow me supervised visitation every so often. That way I at least have a relationship with one of my kidsā¦ I offered some financial help with appointments, supplies, clothes, anything he needs when heās pregnant, regardless of if itās mine or his.
No matter what, Grant will be the one raising the kid, and as much as I wish that wouldnāt happenā¦ Iāve accepted that as long as I can still be involved. Overall, everything went better than I thought it would, and Iām grateful that I finally was able to talk to him. He let me leave first so I wouldnāt follow him home, I understand his fear, and I wanna do whatever will make him comfortable.
The last thing I want is for him to stress out while pregnant.
Colt, for the love of God, don't do anything stupid while you're there.
I appreciate you all looking out for Jimmy, but I assure you, Iām on my best behavior.
Iāve been sober since the day I broke into his apartment. It was stupid of meā¦ I was going through a lot after I lost my wife, still amā¦ but Iām in therapy again and Iām working on myself. I justā¦ donāt want to lose contact with another kid, I canāt.
I took a break to go to the bathroom but like, Jimmyās really upset right nowā¦ we were talking just fine for about 10 minutes until Grant started blowing up his phone.
I get it. If Jimmy was mine, Iād be in the same boat as himā¦ but he isnāt, and he wonāt be. Heās married, and as much as I donāt like Grant, I respect Jim enough not to talk poorly about him again.
Iāve been trying to calm him down so we can talk againā¦ we might be here longer than I thought because of his husband. Iāll keep you guys updated when we finish, I have to go back out to the cafe again.
