Club Redacted: An Overview
It’s a comic in development, featuring characters based on characters from the Portal series as well as their genderbend counterparts.
BowlersandTophats and I (Yunyin) are writing and drawing it together.
Will character X be in it?
Probably in some form or other. However, while many of these characters originated from characters in Portal, they have lived human lives in a world essentially identical to the real world, so many if not all of these characters can be considered OCs.
I’m not familiar with Portal.
That’s fine. While people who are familiar with the games may enjoy certain things more, Club Redacted is an original story and no knowledge of the games is necessary. Conversely, people who do enjoy the games may not like this story if they expect certain things in terms of characters being like they are in the games.
My recommendation and hope is that you will read this like an original story.
Will there be pairings in this?
Yes. Romance is a big part of Club Redacted, and will probably be a Romance/Drama. (The pairings in it are what BowlersandTophats and I like.)
So, is this all about a night club?
Not exactly. The club features prominently, but it’s more about people’s lives connected by the club.
When will this comic/ask blog be updated?
Since you’re doing this, does that mean you’ve abandoned your other ask blogs and comics?
No. I still plan to do Ask Whitney, VLaDOS and Usagi, and the comics of the genderbent Portal canon. It just takes a while, and sometimes they get put on the back-burner.
