(( But the thing is I don't WANT to hang up Beachcomber. He's so happy and friendly and in constant wonderment about everything and I love him for that but like... there's nothing to build off anymore I guess? I was playing sort of fast and loose with canon at the start mixing G1 and IDW to give him something a little sturdier to grasp onto and maybe a little more depth than just like, That Stoner that canon writers apparently love to abuse?? Like Damn, what did Beachcomber ever do you?? But now it's like... I got nothin. Trying to slide him into an IDW timeline means he's dead, or at least he's probably about on the same level as Grimlock if he did survive having a bomb explode in his brain, and G1 means he's sort of ... 1 dimensional and everything I do is probably going to contradict something or get sneered at because people love to hate headcanon~ ))
