My name is Aimee Skaer and I'm a Spokane, Washington based artist. I graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art with a General Fine Arts Degree in the fall of 2015. I'm an artist of many skills and I'm proficient in the arts of painting, printmaking and sculpture. My work is heavily inspired by pattern and nature, I wish to represent and illuminate the beauty and spirit of the world surrounding me. To do this I focus mainly on the mandala as my subject. Much of my work has been shown in coffee shops and restaurants in Spokane and Portland. I desires to reach a wider audience for my work and travel as a means to widen my perspective of the beauty and spirit of the world. In 2014 I took a trip to Turkey. Much of my work is inspired by this trip.
